February 26, 2018 at 5:09 am in reply to: Upcoming Events Calendar Not Showing Current Events #1463612Jennifer
KeymasterHi James,
I’m sorry that you’re still running into issues with this, but since the tabs and post grids are a part of your theme/another plugin, I am not able to help with this from my end. I would recommend reaching out to the theme/plugin author to see if they can point you in the right direction. Events are a custom post type (tribe_events), so you might want to ask specifically how to do what you’re looking for with a custom post type.
I wish I could help out more here! If you run into any other issues related to events, then please don’t hesitate to reach out 🙂
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
Importing from/syncing to Eventbrite is actually a feature of Eventbrite Tickets. The Legacy Imports option does not appear unless this extension is activated. I’m sorry for the confusion there!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer
February 26, 2018 at 3:33 am in reply to: Shortcode Event List not filtering categories or tags #1463571Jennifer
KeymasterHi Gerd,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue with the shortcode, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out.
I just tested this out in my local environment but was not able to recreate the issue – the shortcode that you are using was showing the correct events on my end. First, can you verify that the slugs you’re using for the tags and categories are exactly the same as you see under Events > Event Categories and Events > Tags?
If so, can you try updating WordPress to the current version (4.9.4) and then run through the steps outlined here to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins?
Let me know what you find!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for checking out Event Aggregator!
Event Aggregator can import from one site using The Events Calendar to another (see this article for more info), and you can indeed do this with the personal license, which can be registered on up to 10 domains and allows you up to 100 scheduled imports per day – this should cover your scenario! You can read more about the limits on imports here.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Aggregator for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer
February 26, 2018 at 3:30 am in reply to: Fatal error: Call to undefined function tribe_events_single_event_meta() #1463568Jennifer
KeymasterHi Laura,
It looks like there is a template override with a PHP function that is no longer valid. Could you please send me a copy of that file (wp-content/themes/Viva_Theme/tribe-events/single-event.php) via a gist so that I can take a look?
We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but I’ll be happy to see what I can recommend (and help you get rid of that error)!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Weng!
I just tested this out on my end in Safari and Chrome (on a Mac), and the bar was expanded on page load for both browsers. Can you tell me which OS you are using and which version of Chrome?
Can you also follow the instructions here to see if there might be a conflict with something else on your site? If you could also share your system info with me, that would be helpful as well.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Anastasia,
You can download the plugins from the Downloads page and install them on your demo site for testing – no additional access required! This article has some more info on using your license for your live and development sites.
If you run into any issues or have any questions, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer
February 26, 2018 at 3:28 am in reply to: Renewed, but still not working? (Eventbrite Tickets PRO) #1463565Jennifer
KeymasterHi Greg!
It looks like you are trying to update Events Calendar Pro, but the only license that I see associated with this account is for Eventbrite Tickets. Did you possibly renew this license by mistake, or did you purchase/renew a license for Pro under a different account?
If you do have a current Pro license, then you can follow these instructions to get the license from your account and add it to your site. Once you’ve added your current key, then you will be able to update the plugin automatically from the Plugins page. You can also update manually by following these instructions.
Let me know if this works or if you need help finding the correct license key!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Karen,
Unfortunately tickets and recurring events do not currently work this way. When you add tickets to a recurring event, they are actually added to the series as a whole – separate tickets are not created for each event in the series. This means that there is no way to tell which date the user clicked on when they purchased the ticket. Sorry for the bad news there!
We are working on adding support for recurring tickets in the future, but unfortunately I don’t have a timeline as to when this will be released. I would recommend casting your vote for the feature request here so that you can stay up to date on progress. This also helps us gauge user interest in new features and plan for future development.
In the meantime, you would need to create separate instances for each event that you want to add tickets to. Alternatively, you could also try using the custom fields feature to allow users to select a date, or instead create individual tickets (adding the date in the ticket name/description) for each date in the series (all tickets will show up on all dates). Again, I’m sorry that I don’t have a better answer for you, but if you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ritsa,
I’m sorry that the imports haven’t been working, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.
First, can you try refreshing your Facebook connection under Events > Settings > APIs > Facebook and try importing again?
If that doesn’t help, could you please send me a few of the links that you are trying to import from so that I can do some testing on my end?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Allan,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Events Calendar Pro does include a shortcode with a “view” parameter, so you can use the shortcode to display a list of your events. I am not familiar with the Elementor editor, but if it is capable of rendering other shortcodes, then it should be able to handle ours as well.
Regarding associating files with events, I would recommend using the additional fields (also included with Pro), where you can paste in the links for the files that you want to attach.
The list view does not include past events by default, but you can start the list from any date in the past using the “date” parameter with the shortcode.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
I just tested this out in my local environment and was getting the same thing. However, you should be able to fix this by adding this snippet to the functions.php file of your child theme. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?
Thanks,
Jennifer
