Upcoming Events Calendar Not Showing Current Events

Hi, I am having an issue with my upcoming events that are listed on my site. In the past it used to show events that were current and going on that week, but lately it stared showing past events from 2016. I went into Edit Post Grid Options. When order is listed as “Ascending” the upcoming events shows past events from July 2016, so I switched the order to “Descending”. When the order is listed as “Descending” It features future events that are months away. We need the upcoming events to feature the latest most current events. Can you help with this issue? Thanks. The upcoming events are on the homepage as well as some other pages in the site.

Thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like you’re adding these events through a module from your theme or another plugin, is that correct? If so, you may want to instead try displaying them with a shortcode. When using theme/plugin modules or page builders to display posts like events, the default ordering that our plugins apply may not be applied in the module.

Can you give the shortcodes a try and let me know if this works?

I am still having some issues featuring upcoming events… with the tabs and post grids. I don’t understand how to have the post grid in each tab.. it is only showing up in the first tab. The tabs should be listed as Children, Teens, & then Adults and in each tab it should feature upcoming events for each of those categories. So each post grid will be different for each tab. Not sure if this is something you can help me with?

Hi James,

I’m sorry that you’re still running into issues with this, but since the tabs and post grids are a part of your theme/another plugin, I am not able to help with this from my end. I would recommend reaching out to the theme/plugin author to see if they can point you in the right direction. Events are a custom post type (tribe_events), so you might want to ask specifically how to do what you’re looking for with a custom post type.
