ParticipantThere are numerous functions to grab the post thumbnail URL, both from within WordPress itself, and some custom event-specific ones we have created and can be found in our plugin code.
Best of luck with your site.

ParticipantHey Syamil,
Thanks for reaching out!
There is unfortunately no such feature within our plugins at this time, and so what you describe is not possible. π The closes thing we have to this is Event Tickets Plus’s “Attendee Information” features, which you can read about in these two articles from our Knowledgebase:
β’ https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/
β’ https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/βοΈ Give these articles a read and let me know if you have any further questions I can try to help with! π

ParticipantHey Dave,
Thanks for reaching out.
Community Events is at version 4.4.1 at this time, and so the first step here before being able to proceed to other steps is to update Community Events on your site.
Let us know how things look and behave after you update Community Events to version 4.4.1! π

ParticipantThanks for reaching out, Angie. I’m sorry to hear this!
These sorts of issues are unfortunately pretty tricky to track down usuallyβthere can be server-level or even DNS-level contributors to this sort of problem, which can take a very long time to resolve and require collaboration from multiple parties.
So I have taken a simpler approach here to try and deliver the fastest resolution possible: I have deleted your existing Business License for Events Calendar Pro and added a new one to your account.
No, don’t fret about this! There is no extra charge to your account or anything, and this license will be valid until the same date as the original one (Feb 2, 2018).
Head to http://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys to locate your new Business License on Events Calendar Pro. Use it on the sites you want to be licensed, and remove the old license key from anywhere you see fit.
Let us know if this helps!

ParticipantPaul, I’m very sorry about this issue and for the extra time it is costing you. This is a known bug that our developers are working hard on fixing.
I don’t have a specific estimate for when a bug fix will arrive, but it should hopefully not be more than a week or two of waiting time.
I have marked this thread “Pending Fix” and can assure you I will keep it updated with news about the bug fix.
For now, there is unfortunately no known workaround. π
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!
Sincerely,

ParticipantHi there,
Thank you for reaching out. These forums here are our “Pre-sales Questions” forums, so we unfortunately cannot field technical support questions here.
It doesn’t currently appear that you have a premium license with us. If this is wrong, and you do have a premium license with us, then apologies for my misunderstanding!
However, in that case please log into the account on this site that has your premium license, and then post this question in a premium support forum.
If you indeed do not have a premium license, then please post your question in our free support forums here β http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar
We check those forums a bit more than once per week, so hopefully we will be able to get to your question there.
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantOkay, so now let’s talk about the Month View and shortcodes and such.
Simply put:
β’ The Events Calendar is totally free and provides a Month View, List View, and Day View calendar right out of the box. β’ These views exist at your main calendar URL, which by default is /events/. So if your site is example.com, then The Events Calendar by default will provide the full Month View, List View, and Day View at example.com/events
β’ If this is not working for you, then your site is broken and this needs to be investigated and fixed. It is not a problem with our plugins, but with your siteβand we are happy to help try and fix it! π
Events Calendar Pro is an add-on to The Events Calendar. In addition to the three free views mentioned above, it offers Photo View, Week View, and Map View. It also does provide shortcodes like [tribe_events] which lets you embed whole calendar views anywhere you want. It also provides the “recurring events” features. It also provides several Pro-only widgets. It provides some additional Pro-only shortcodes, and also provides access to these very “premium forums” π
This is a totally different product and set of features than Event Aggregator, which provides a set of features related to importing events. I hope that I have helped to clarify why these products are separate, and the value they provide separately from each other and are sold as separate items.
So let’s get down to work here: If your site’s calendar views don’t work, things are broken and we need to fix it. To get started with that process, please use the “Sharing information manually” steps in this article to share your site’s complete, un-edited system information with us so I can take a look and try to recreate your problems: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Dylan,
There are a couple of different things going here, so let’s first tackle this issue of importing iCal files.
Please note that, yes, importing from iCal files and feeds is complicated and is only a premium feature found in Event Aggregator. Event Aggregator is required to import from iCal, Facebook, Meetup.com, and other services. We also make another premium importer plugin called Eventbrite Tickets which imports events from Eventbrite. This is a premium offering because, like the other things, importing from Eventbrite is complicated.
However, there are many totally free import/export methods! You can:
β’ Import from CSV files out-of-the-box with The Events Calendar.
β’ Import and Export with WordPress’ built-in tools as described here.
β’ Import and export the database content directly using a whole slew of methods. It’s true that more advanced or automated methods than the above three free, manual methods requires a premium add-on. But I hope this information helps clarify the whole picture of things in terms of imports and exports.

ParticipantI’m sorry to hear this, Ron!
Can you use the “Share information manually” methods in this article to share your site’s complete, un-edited system information to this thread? ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
That will help us investigate this issue.
Thanks!
