    Hey Jean-Baptise,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m glad to hear you got things working.

    You say in your reply:

Could you provide me directives to customize the list ?

No, we unfortunately cannot do this. We cannot provide any assistance with customizing our plugins. Please read this page to learn more about this → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

To modify anything about how our plugins look or behave, you would have to write custom code yourself or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).

We also have a Themer’s Guide which may be helpful → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Sorry to disappoint! While we will not be able to help modify how our plugins look or behave, please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey Janneke,

Thanks for reaching out. You are correct when you note that these features are not yet possible at this time. It is indeed possible they may exist at some point in the future, though if they do exist, it would not be for many months from now—well into the fall of 2017, for example.

Please let me know if that information is useful at all, and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with! 😀

    Thanks,
    George

    Hey Francisco,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I totally understand your frustrations, but at this time there is no alternative purchase method than what you get “out of the box”. 🙁

There is no support for all of this being on the same page like you describe.

I am sorry to disappoint! Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

    Sorry to hear this Luca!

    1. Are issues still persisting for you here? Our servers might have been down for a bit, but they’re up and have no reported issues at this time for now.

    2. If issues are persisting for you, can you please contact your webhost and ask them to confirm if your site can ping remote servers like for our license validation system? They should be able to double-check this and confirm if your server can communicate in this way.

Can you clarify which shortcode you’re referring to when you say, “the shortcode”?

    Thanks!

    Hey @ejd,

While we make products like Event Aggregator that let you go from Google Calendar to your WordPress, at this time none of our plugins can go from WordPress to Google Calendar.

At least not automatically. You can go to your Month View and scroll down — at the bottom of the page you should see an “export events” link. This will generate a file that you can then import into Google Calendar.

But there is not any other method available than this.

Please let me know if this helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with! 😀

    Hi there,

It sounds like you’re putting your Events Calendar Pro license key into the Event Aggregator license key field — this will not work.

Please first make sure you’ve followed the steps here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-the-events-calendar-and-events-calendar-pro/

You’ll want Events Calendar Pro to be installed AND ACTIVATED on your site, after which point you should be able to head to Events → Settings → Licenses in your wp-admin — here you’ll find a license key field for Events Calendar Pro specifically. Enter your key there and you should be fine.

Please let me know how this goes and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with! 😀

    Hey Dave,

    Thanks for reaching out.

There’s no way to do this via shortcode. The best options are these two:

    1. You could modify template files of the plugin using the methods described in our Themer’s Guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

    2. You could head to Events → Settings → Display in your wp-admin and scroll to the bottom; there you’ll find options that will let you add text above or below events content, which includes the Community Events submission page. Then you could just use CSS to hide this content on pages other than the Community Events submission page, and it should work well.

Please let me know what you think and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with! 😀

    Hey Julie,

Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our plugins! 😀

1 – Can I import from a Google calendar into The Events Calendar?

SORT OF — You can do this if you use Event Aggregator with our plugin, which you can learn more about here: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/

2 – Will people be able to subscribe to my calendar into their Google calendar?

SORT OF — Folks can download ICS files of the “month view” of your calendar, and then import those events into Google Calendar. But this is manual process — it’s not an automatic thing where they subscribe once and then their calendars automatically get filled with events from your site. This is unfortunately not possible with our plugins at this time.

To see the manual “month view” exports, check out our demo site here: wpshindig.com/events/month You’ll see an “Export Events” link in the bottom-right corner of the page, which is what gets displayed by our plugins by default. Users of your site can manually export events with this sort of link and then re-import them into their own calendars.

3 – Lastly, how customizable is it? I wanted to create the look in this link – https://avada.theme-fusion.com/events/ but could not find a similar view in the information on your plugin.

The only “out of the box” customization options with our plugins are those that are covered here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-customizer/

Other than these customization options, which are mainly just color selectors, you would have to write custom code to get things looking how you want (or hire someone to write such code for you). The theme you choose on your site may also have some custom Event-related design, but this is something you’d have to ask the theme author about since we do not make any themes.

Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with! 😀

    Thanks for reaching out, @mindshare.

It’s true that our plugins — neither on their own or with Advanced Post Manger — have the specific sort of admin view you’re describing here.

We cannot help with custom coding, and don’t have plans to implement this sort of filter at this time, so unfortunately, to implement the features you describe you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).

I’m sorry about this being a bit harder to attain than it might have first seemed. I encourage you to please post this idea to our UserVoice page here → http://tribe.uservoice.com

↑ Other users can “vote” on ideas on that page, which helps us make product decisions — and so if a lot of people request this feature, for example, it could indeed end up in our plugins some day despite the lack of current plans to do so.

Please let me know what you think here, if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey Laura,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Event Aggregator at this time does not support recurring events — it only imports individual instances of events, even if they’re part of a recurring series.

So it will not import all instances of a recurring event series, it will import it in chunks of individual events to try and keep the import sizes manageable (which helps with site performance and plugin performance).

Please let me know if this information helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

    Hey Hans,

You can specify the order statuses for those actions with the Event Tickets Plus settings. Just make sure you’re using the most recent version of The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, and Event Tickets Plus.

Check out how to control this in this guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/woocommerce-specific-ticket-settings/

Please let me know if this helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with! 😀

Thanks for reaching out and reporting these things, Victor.

When it comes to any sort of conflict or issue with The Events Calendar and its translations, feel free to post in The Events Calendar support forums here for assistance on those: http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar

As for the feature ideas, these are all great ideas. You should submit them to our UserVoice page here: http://tribe.uservoice.com

↑ Users can “vote” on ideas on this page, and so if you submit ideas there and other people vote on them, it’s a possibility they could end up in our plugins!

We also unfortunately do not provide support in any language other than English — we do sometimes provide it in Spanish and French as well, but English is the only language we can guarantee communication in.

I will close this thread for now to facilitate the above things.

See you in the free forums and on our UserVoice! 😀

The features you are trying to implement are possible, but not “out-of-the-box” with our plugins unfortunately. So it would require custom coding to implement 🙁
