ParticipantHey Gregory,
Thank you for reaching out.
Just to be clear here early on so that you can set your expectations, we cannot help with custom coding or provide much insights into how to do things with code, etc. Please read this page to learn more about these rules.
With that in mind, I am not sure why the meta_input parameter isn’t working. This is something worth looking into on our site.
In the meantime, for your specific needs, I would recommend removing the meta_input parameter and just using the standard update_post_meta() function within WordPress.
It’s this function that the meta_input parameter calls, anyways, so it should work well for your needs.
You can learn more about how to use that update_post_meta() function here ? https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/update_post_meta
Best of luck with your custom coding!

ParticipantHey Ocronusa,
Thank you for reaching out.
Can you share screenshots of the “Day Icons for Event List” on your homepage? You can do so by uploading the screenshots to this thread. If you have issues with that, you can upload to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.
I just want to make sure I understand what you are referring to so that I can best help out! 😀
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Bart,
Thanks for reaching out. I cannot currently recreate this problem.
I know you mention “all plugins and themes up to date,” but to help us investigate this, can you provide the following information?
1. Your site’s complete, un-edited “System Information” per the instructions of this article → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
2. A link to your site’s main events page so that I can see the problem with those prev/next links live?
With this information we can proceed with investigating this and go from there.
Thank you!

ParticipantHey Greg,
Thanks for reaching out, and for your interest in buying Events Calendar Pro!
If the Customizr theme is well-made and follows the WordPress Coding Standards, then there should not be any compatibility issues. However, we unfortunately do not know that theme directly and cannot confirm full compatibility since we have not tested with it.
As for getting a refund, yes, if the pieces of software are incompatible then you can absolutely get a refund by filling out the form on this page ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Atul,
Thanks for reaching out.
We are happy to issue a refund—to do this, simply fill out the form on this page and we will process the refund as soon as possible (often within a few hours at most) ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Alice,
I am so sorry—that reply I posted was related to Eventbrite issues and for some reason it was posted in to this thread instead of another one erroneously.
Please send over the Organic theme via a CloudUp.com download link, along with any child themes you are using.
Also, can you confirm that you are in dialogue with the Organic Theme support team as well regarding these issues?

ParticipantHey Rocio,
Unfortunately, all of the add-ons to The Events Calendar require The Events Calendar to be installed and activated, and are not built to work with other calendar plugins. 🙁
You could use Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus on their own, but for any other add-on sold on this site, The Events Calendar is required.
Sorry to disappoint—please let me know if there is anything else I can try to help with!

ParticipantHey Mike,
Thanks for reaching out, and for your interest in our products!
Our Personal Licenses are intended for single sites only. If you’d like to test things out on each site before buying a Business License, you can start with Personal and use this tutorial to move your license to the next site you wish to test.
If you decide you do want to upgrade to a Business License at some point after testing everything out, you can log into your account here on http://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys and upgrade any time.

ParticipantHey Sheryl,
Thanks for reaching out!
The features you listed are possible with the following plugins:
• The Events Calendar [free]
• Event Tickets [free]
• Event Tickets Plus [premium]
• WooCommerce [free]Now, in regards to accepting payment through Payeezy and Firstdata, I do not personally know to what extent this is possible. Our plugins do not process the payments; the eCommerce plugin WooCommerce does. So, I would recommend going to http://woocommerce.com and looking for “Payment Gateway” extensions for Payeezy and Firstdata.
If those extensions exist, then they will likely be premium plugins too, but should work fine with the four plugins listed above.
I hope this information is helpful!
Cheers,
GeorgeAugust 15, 2016 at 6:04 pm in reply to: WP Related Posts plugin only shows events on non-events posts (e.g. blog) #1151882George
ParticipantHey Bark,
Thanks for reaching out.
Since that related posts functionality is coming from your theme, it sounds like the related posts query code in your theme is not correctly selecting post types to pull from. So events are being pulled in erroneously.
I do not know why this happening, and would encourage you to reach out to the Jupiter theme support team for assistance with that problem.
We cannot assist much with software that we do not make, and I cannot guarantee that I can fix this problem. But: email me at support at theeventscalendar.com with a link back to this forum thread for reference. Attach a .zip of your theme and your child theme if you are using a child theme, and I will try to identify the problematic code.
Like I said, I cannot guarantee a positive outcome here and your best course of action is to contact the Jupiter support team.
But I will take a look and see what I can find! 😀

ParticipantHey Rocio,
Thank you for reaching out!
We unfortunately do not provide any custom bundling options at this time. 🙁
As for specific features, everything that you listed is something we currently provide in various plugins EXCEPT the following things which I have highlighted. These following things are not provided by any of our plugins:
1c.Multi city events
4.Share event on social media option
8b.Meet-up
6.Event/Calendar page customization to look like website
7.Subscribe to calendar or to event option and add to calendar optionSorry to disappoint—I hope this information is helpful, though!
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Randy,
Thanks for reaching out!
There are two separate plugin ecosystems here, fundamentally. Let me explain:
The Calendar Plugins
There is a core plugin, The Events Calendar, that is free and provides basic events functionality. Events Calendar Pro is a premium add-on to this core events plugin. The Ticketing Plugins
There is a core plugin, Event Tickets, that is free and provides basic RSVP tickets functionality. Event Tickets Plus is a premium add-on to this core ticketing plugin. The “Calendar Plugins” does not require the “Ticketing Plugins”, nor do the “Ticketing Plugins” require “Calendar Plugins”. They are totally separate from each other.
So:
1) Does Event Tickets Plus provide the same features as Events Calendar Pro with the addition of selling tickets?
NO — Event Tickets Plus does not provide any event features. Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus only provide ticketing functionality.
2) Or, do I need both of them to achieve the calendar plus sell tickets?
YES — To have events in a calendar and then sell tickets on these events, you need all of the following plugins installed on your site:
• The Events Calendar [free]
• Event Tickets [free]
• WooCommerce [free]
• Event Tickets Plus [premium]Events Calendar Pro is optional, and is not required to have tickets on events. If you want features of Events Calendar Pro like the “map view” of events, then you would need to buy and install that too. But if you just need, for example, the Month View grid calendar of events, then you can just use The Events Calendar and not buy Events Calendar Pro.
3) If I need both of them, how do they link the information? (i.e., Does creating a ticket with Event Tickets Plus automatically add the even to the calendar?
You make an event first, and then while making the event, you add tickets to the event. You do not create tickets on their own and then “attach” them to specific events.
I hope this information helps!

ParticipantHey Rebecca,
Our developers actually have a fix in place that is being Code Reviewed, discussed, and tested at this time. If it works and passes all checks, then we should be able to publish an update some time in the next few days.
Thank you for your patience!
