ParticipantHey Rebecca,
We share your frustration and are still working on pinning down the exact cause of this. I’m sorry to say that there are no updates at this time, but I will be updating this thread as soon as I have any news regarding fixes, releases, etc.
I’m so sorry for the trouble!
Sincerely,
GeorgeAugust 15, 2016 at 4:49 pm in reply to: Calendar not appearing when using Organic Shop theme #1151867George
ParticipantHey Alice,
I’m sorry to report it but am still not seeing an email with the Organic theme attached.
I hope in the meantime that you have opened support tickets or threads with the Organic theme team and those conversations are fruitful.
Sorry for the frustrations here! You can try uploading to CloudUp.com and share a link to that in a reply on this thread.

ParticipantHey JM,
Thanks for reaching out, and for your interest in our plugins!
Events Calendar Pro currently does not support this, but our next version of the plugin will include a shortcode that you can use to display calendar views like the Map View anywhere you’d like.
So, you could put the Map View on your home page.
Insofar as sliders and such are concerned, our plugins do not offer any “slider” features nor special integration with any slider plugins or themes out there. So you would have to go about the sliders separately.
If you would like to stay tuned to the 4.3 update—which will contain the aforementioned calendar-view shortcodes—then I encourage you to sign up for the Beta Testing. We will be doing an extensive Beta Test before the plugin if officially launched, so you can test out the new 4.3 version of the plugin before proceeding with buying it.
I don’t have a specific launch date for 4.3 OR for its beta test, but the beta test will be happening some time in the next several weeks.
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Josh,
Thanks for reaching out.
Our plugins unfortunately do not provide this sort of functionality at this time. 🙁 You can require folks to be logged in to buy tickets, but offering different rates based on whether logged-in or not is not currently possible.
Sorry to disappoint! Let me know if there’s anything else I can try to help with.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey @Bradley,
Thanks for reaching out.
I looked up your license key and it looks like it was originally purchased on July 27, 2017. Then it expired just two days ago, on August 9, 2016.
Let me know if this information is helpful and anything I can do to assist further.
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge

ParticipantHey @Rich,
Thanks for confirming some of these details. I am not able to reproduce some of your exact issues here, so I will add these to the list of issues that our developers are investigating at this time.
Can I trouble you for one last piece of information, for now? I’m just curious if you can post your site’s complete, un-edited system information to this thread.
Here is how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thank you for your patience here!

ParticipantHi Alice,
I am sorry but unfortunately do not see the email. 🙁 I would recommend uploading the theme to cloudup.com, then sharing the link to that file here. I will take a look.
Thank you for your patience!
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThank you for the follow-up Rich, and for your patience here.
There are indeed numerous issues with Eventbrite syncing that we are currently working on. In regards to the most recent issues you described here, I’m wondering: once you deleted those old API keys via phpmyadin and such, were you able to re-authorize your Eventbrite Tickets add-on without issue?
Or did any issues arise when you attempted to re-authorize?
Thanks!
GeorgeAugust 10, 2016 at 9:09 pm in reply to: Time Zone Selection – Do We Just Have to Memorize Major Cities? #1150333George
ParticipantHey Zack,
Thanks for reaching out.
I’m sorry to bear the bad news, but yes, unfortunately at this time the only course of action for this selection is to choose the listed city closest to the event venue (or any whose timezone matches the timezone of the venue location).
I cannot deny this is frustrating, but want to highlight that this is mostly due to a limitation imposed by the programming language itself.
WordPress is written in PHP—by extension, our plugins are too. PHP does not currently offer a full list of the American time zones “EST”, “EDT”, “CDT”, and so on.
As noted in this comment on the official list of American time zones, though, workarounds are sometimes possible → http://php.net/manual/en/timezones.america.php#114694
☝️ So a workaround like this may be something we can roll into the plugins eventually. I will make a feature ticket for our developers so that we can look into this.
To be frank, if this even is possible within our plugins, it would not arrive in a published release for several weeks at least, and likely longer. I’m sorry if that’s a bummer, but just wanted to be frank so that you can best set your expectations.
I hope this information is helpful, in some sense—please let me know if so, and if there’s anything else I can try to help with in the meantime.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Conor,
I apologize for my delayed response—I had an emergency outage yesterday and was not able to respond until today. Sorry for the trouble here!
In regards to your issues, thanks so much for the screenshot. The “quantity” can appear in numerous places, so thank you for helping to clarify the specific instance you wanted to hide.
To hide the quantity text you highlighted, you would need to add custom CSS like the following to the bottom of your theme’s style.css file:
span.tribe-tickets-remaining {
display: none !important;
}
I hope this helps!
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Rich,
My apologies for missing that!
You can find the items in the database according to the following structure:
- The table is the wp_options table
- The option_name in the table is tribe_events_calendar_options
- The fields within this option’s array of data, specifically, are as follows:
-
- eventbrite-app_key
- eventbrite-client_secret
- eventbrite-auth_code (generated by the plugin, not by the user)

ParticipantHey Alice,
Apologies for my delayed response! Thank you for your patience—I had an unexpected emergency outage yesterday and so wasn’t able to respond until today. Sorry for the trouble!
In regards to your theme, I do not see any emails from you, nor any theme with the organic theme attached at all, in fact…nothing is in our support at theeventscalendar dot com inbox.
Furthermore, when it comes to the loading of the “search results” template, our plugins do not specifically load that template for the main events page. And the problem still comes down to something with your theme:
• If things work fine in a default theme, then the “search results” template (which EXISTS in the default theme) is not being pulled.
• But if the search template is suddenly being erroneously pulled in once the Organic theme is active, then this indicates that there is still some issue on the level of the Organic theme’s code that is causing the template loader to load the incorrect file.
If possible, I would recommend that you please try sharing the theme again. If email is not working, then you can upload the zip to http://cloudup.com and share a link to that here. Please be sure to include any child themes if you are using a child theme, too.
I’m sorry for the trouble, Alice, and totally relate to not wanting to have to start over from scratch!
We cannot help with theme issues, but once I have a copy of the theme and any child themes associated with it, I will at least take a high-level link and see if there is anything easily identifiable.
Thank you,
George -
