GuestHi There!
I have a website that focus on free things and I wanted a reasonably price plugin to be able to import free events from different places and show them in my events calendar but it seems that the features I need are scramble throughout the different add-on plugins that includes many other features that I don’t need. I was wondering if it is possible to customize a bundle for the features that I need.
Features:
1.Events
a. Multi day
b.Recurring events
c.Multi city events
d. past events2.Event Categories, tags and search by the ones below with the option of filtering with more than one (like location+tags)
a.location
b.categories
c.tags
d.dates3. User submitted events, integrated on the same calendar, not a separate community calendar.
4.Share event on social media option
5.Show events:
a.map (global map, multi city)
b.month
c.list6.Event/Calendar page customization to look like website
7.Subscribe to calendar or to event option and add to calendar option
8.Import events:
a.Facebook
b.Meet-up
c.Eventbrite
d.iCalI understand this is a lot of features. I have been looking through all the plugins but none seem to have all the features I need. Please let me know if this is possible with The Evens Calendar and if I can bundle the features I need.
Thanks,

ParticipantHey Rocio,
Thank you for reaching out!
We unfortunately do not provide any custom bundling options at this time. 🙁
As for specific features, everything that you listed is something we currently provide in various plugins EXCEPT the following things which I have highlighted. These following things are not provided by any of our plugins:
1c.Multi city events
4.Share event on social media option
8b.Meet-up
6.Event/Calendar page customization to look like website
7.Subscribe to calendar or to event option and add to calendar optionSorry to disappoint—I hope this information is helpful, though!
Sincerely,

GuestThank you George!
Is it possible to buy some of the add-ons like facebook importer and use it with another Calendar/Event plugin that is not ‘The Events Calendar’plugin that might have the features you guys don’t have?
If yes, how would I incorporate both?
Thanks,
Rocio

ParticipantHey Rocio,
Unfortunately, all of the add-ons to The Events Calendar require The Events Calendar to be installed and activated, and are not built to work with other calendar plugins. 🙁
You could use Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus on their own, but for any other add-on sold on this site, The Events Calendar is required.
Sorry to disappoint—please let me know if there is anything else I can try to help with!

GuestThanks George!
Is it possible to be the other way around then? Use the ‘The Events Calendar’ plugin with other addon plugins that are not from ‘The Events Calendar’? Like the ‘Facebook Events Importer’ https://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook-events-importer/ ? or any other plugin versions that add some of the functionalities that I need, that might not be available with your event calendar? I’m just trying to find a work around because I can’t pay $500 for all the plugins that The Events Calendar offer in the bundle that would cover most of the things I need, especially when I don’t really need all the ones that come with that bundle, just a few from each of the addons. :/ If you can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks so much!

ParticipantHey Rocio,
Using other plugins may indeed be possible. I do not know of any specific ones that work well, so discovering and testing out the right plugins for your project is something you’ll have to do on your own, but yes, other plugins may indeed work well.
In terms of other plugins that specifically work with our plugins, the only ones we can guarantee will work with The Events Calendar are our own add-ons. If you find another importer plugin out there and are curious if it will work with The Events Calendar, your best course of action is to ask the developer of that plugin via their own support channels.
I apologize if my answers here are not very specific—I am not trying to make things harder for you, there’s just not really much we can say about other pieces of software that we do not make. There are many many WordPress plugins out there so definitely explore, tinker, ask their support teams, etc. — I am sure you will find a good fit.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can try to help with!
