    Hey Anatoli,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’m sorry to see this small iframe height — I’m not sure why it’s appearing that way.

When it comes to modifying the height or other style rules for iframes, this is unfortunately quite tricky to do, and often impossible. This is because of security rules imposed by browsers themselves, not something caused by our plugin.

I wrote a snippet for you that might help nonetheless. Try adding that snippet to your theme’s functions.php file ? https://git.io/vy1xB

☝️ If that doesn’t work well for you, check out this guide for some insight on possible alternative solutions for fixing this via code: https://css-tricks.com/cross-domain-iframe-resizing/

    I hope this information helps!

    Hey Marcie,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Eventbrite is a total event-management and ticketing platform; it is not a payment gateway.

So there are two options here.

Option 1: Selling tickets through Eventbrite.com

If you would like to sell tickets through Eventbrite.com, and to be able to import those events into your WordPress site so they show up on your WordPress site, then Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, and WooCommerce will not do this and thus are not necessary.

You would just need these two plugins:
    • The Events Calendar (free)
    • Eventbrite Tickets (premium): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/

Option 2: Selling tickets on your own WordPress site

If you would like to sell tickets on your site directly, then you cannot use Eventbrite to sell those same tickets. It’s unfortunately one or the other. 🙁 If you want to keep the ticket sales process entirely on your site, then do not use Eventbrite.com for anything. Instead, you would use these plugins:
    • The Events Calendar (free)
    • Event Tickets (free)
    • Event Tickets Plus (premium)
    • WooCommerce (free)

When it comes to the available payment gateways for WooCommerce, you could use any of the official WooCommerce gateways which are listed here.

    I hope this information helps!

    Hey Erik!

    Thanks for reaching out.

Is it possible to send all checked in customers a (template) email with their name etc. that they earned the points?

Unfortunately, no, the features you describe are not supported by our plugins at this time.

I’m sorry to disappoint, but hope this information helps you move forward with your project. Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey Joanne!

This is unfortunately not possible with our plugins at this time.

The feature describe is technically possible, but would unfortunately require some significant code-customizing to implement.

We cannot help with any such custom coding, so to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).

Sorry to bear some of this news! I hope it helps you move forward with your project.

Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

    Cheers,
    George

    Hey Martin,

This appears to be an error with our documentation and I will confirm that and make the necessary edits to the documentation to correct this.

    Apologies for the confusion!

Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

    Hey there,

Those fields are unfortunately only customizable by way of writing custom code.

We cannot help with modifying the look or behavior of our plugins, so to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you. Hi Allison!

    1. If you head into your wp-admin, and to the “Pages” list there, do you have a Page on your site whose title is “Events”? If so, delete that page and let us know if that helps at all with the showing-up of the events page.

    2. If that doesn’t help, I’d recommend doing the complete set of troubleshooting steps on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ After EACH STEP in that process, check back on your /events/ page and see if anything improves with it showing up as expected…

Let us know what you find!

    Thanks,
    George

    Hey Travis,

I am really sorry to hear about these issues. We don’t have other reports of this, so here’s what I would recommend doing:

    1. Use FTP to manually delete the existing /the-events-calendar folder from your site’s /wp-content/plugins directory.
    2. Delete any folders for other Events plugins, too, like /events-calendar-pro or /the-events-calendar-community-events for example. Delete /event-tickets and /event-tickets-plus, too.

Note: Deleting those files will NOT delete any event data!

If you’re not familiar with FTP, you can either research online how to do this, or you can contact your web host directly and ask them to remove those folders from your /wp-content/plugins directly for you.

    3. Once those folders are removed, head to your site’s dashboard…does it show up again? Can you access your dashboard fine, without issue?

    4. If so, then download a fresh copy of The Events Calendar from here: theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads

    5. Install that fresh copy on your site and activate The Events Calendar.

Do any errors pop up when you activate this fresh copy? If so, please post the full error message you get when you do that here.

We can continue the conversation from that point in the above steps — let us know how things go!

    Hey @Abhimanyu,

This is normally something that is only changeable by writing custom CSS code. We unfortunately cannot help with writing custom code: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

However, if you can share a link to a page on your site where this font size issue is easily visible, I will take a look at it and see if I can recommend some CSS to increase their font size.

Post a link to a page on your site where the small fonts are visible, and I’ll take a look!

    Cheers,
    George

    Hey Jack,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Events Calendar Pro does not offer any ticket sale features — the only plugins of ours that do this are Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.

Does this information help clarify things at all? Let me know if so, and what other questions you might have.

    Cheers!

As for your issues with the license, it sounds like you don’t, in fact, need a Multisite license.

Please check out this page to learn what the exact rules are for needing a Multisite license: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/

Our plugins unfortunately are not “smart” enough to tell how a plugin is being used, so all it detects is that it is activated on a multisite network — and then displays the message you see, which mentions the Multisite license.

This is inconvenient and we are indeed working on a better way to detect how a plugin is being used on a Multisite license, so that the message only displays when truly appropriate.

Until then, you can ignore the message and use our plugins without issue.

    I hope this information helps!

    Hey Gregg,

The pace of our support exchanges is one reply every 24–48 hours, as elaborated upon here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

Please read that page before responding.

A reply is forthcoming, but I wanted to post this first so that you can set your expectations accordingly.

    Hello!

This should indeed be possible with some of the shortcodes provided by The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro.

You can learn about all available shortcodes by browsing articles tagged “Shortcodes” on our Knowledgebase → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase-tag/shortcodes/

    Cheers!

    Hey there,

    Sorry to hear this!

If activating a default theme makes things work fine, then your custom theme is likely the source of the conflict. I would recommend contacting the support team of that theme to see if they can shed light on why their theme is breaking the shortcode.

Please let me know what you find by communicating with them!
