ParticipantHello,
A recent update of the Events Calendar introduced a conflict with the backend display of a field from the plugin Advanced Custom Fields. Prior to the Events Calendar update, the ACF timepicker field showed times such as:
11:15 amAfter the Events Calendar update, times in the ACF timepicker field appear as follows:
11:mm ttLooking in the code inspector, the value is still stored correctly in the field, but it looks like a script from the Events Calendar is changing the formatting. Additionally, the timepicker bundled with ACF is being overridden by the Events Calendar timepicker, breaking the ability to select a new time. (Times are displayed in the broken dropdown with the same “:mm tt” syntax.)
Steps to replicate this problem:
1. Create an ACF field group that displays on tribe_events posts, and include a timepicker field in this group.
2. Create a new event, observe the issues with the ACF timepicker field.Advanced Custom Fields loads a timepicker script called jQuery Timepicker Addon:
http://trentrichardson.com/examples/timepickerECP uses this timepicker script:
http://jonthornton.github.com/jquery-timepicker/I’m guessing there’s probably just some class name or other initialization conflict that’s causing ECP’s script to override ACF’s, but I’m not sure precisely which.
A temporary solution I am using is to use the ACF date-timepicker (rather than just the timepicker), but ideally the plain timepicker could coexist with the Events Calendar.
Thank you!
