ParticipantThanks Kim!
The system information is unfortunately not posted here β apologies for the extra step here, but can you post it manually to this thread as per the steps here? β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
As for the testing you’ve done, when you say you deactivated Events Calendar Pro, can you confirm that in this state you then did some imports of Facebook events with featured images and that it failed?
Thanks for your patience here!

ParticipantHey @Nicolas,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m unable to reproduce this problem, as shown in this little screen recording from my test site β https://cloudup.com/cr0ppZSMS2s
So you may have a theme or plugin conflict here.
First, update your versions of our plugins to their most recent versions. This is 4.3.3 for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, for example.
Once everything’s up to date, if issues persist try doing the complete set of steps listed on this page β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
βοΈ After EACH STEP in that process, go back to an edit-event screen and see if the tabs issues persists. Does anything change along the way when you do these tests?
Let us know what you find! π

ParticipantHi Kim,
This is going to sound like a weird recommendation, but can you try temporarily deactivating Events Calendar Pro? Once deactivated, do some test imports from Facebook of events that have featured images; do the images get imported fine in this state with Events Calendar Pro deactivated?
βοΈ Before doing that, please be sure to deactivate the legacy Facebook Importer plugin; in other words, don’t have both the legacy plugin and Event Aggregator running alongside each otherβonly one should be active at a time.
If my above recommendations don’t help, then in your reply can you please post your site’s complete, un-edited system information to help me investigate this more closely? Here’s how to do that β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Patrick,
If you add CSS code like the following to the bottom of your theme’s style.css file, those text elements should be permanently hidden:
h2.tribe-events-page-title {
display: none !important;
}.screen-reader-text {
clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);
clip-path: polygon(0px 0px, 0px 0px,0px 0px, 0px 0px);
position: absolute !important;
white-space: nowrap;
height: 1px;
width: 1px;
overflow: hidden;
}
βοΈ Let us know if this helps! π

ParticipantHey Vic!
We certainly will be! Some of the details are still top-secret π But I would highly encourage you pay attention to these three locations for news coming very, very soon about some awesome deals:
β’ Our Deals, Coupons, and Discounts page β https://theeventscalendar.com/deals-coupons-discounts/
β’ Our blog β http://theeventscalendar.com/blog
β’Β Our newsletter, which you can subscribe to right in the footer of this website.Let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHi Charmaine!
Can you share a screenshot of “the red circle (bad) in the readability column” that you’re referring to?
None of our plugins add such a column, so what you’re referring to is likely not something related to our plugins. But if you can share a screenshot of the specific thing you’re referring to, I can confirm if that’s the case and try to identify what is the source of that.
You can share screenshots by uploading the images directly to this thread. If you have issues with that, you can upload to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.
Thanks!

ParticipantSorry to see this, Patrick! Here’s what I’d recommend:
1. Remove the Event Tickets Plus license key from the Event Aggregator license key field.
2. Do a “manual update” of Event Tickets Plus on your site so that instead of using Event Tickets Plus version 4.1.2 like you’re currently using, you get set up with Event Tickets Plus version 4.3.3 which is the current version. Here is how to do a manual update β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/
Once you do the two things above, try the license key in the proper field again. If you get the notice again, check out this Knowledgebase guide for more information β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/license-key-out-of-installs/
Let us know what you find by doing all of these steps!
Sincerely,
GeorgeNovember 21, 2016 at 5:38 pm in reply to: Strange behaviour and inability to update to the current version #1195587George
ParticipantHey @Chrisfernie,
Sorry to hear about this!
Let’s tackle each issue at a time.
1) It says I am out of installs β I am paid up to 2017.
First, here’s an article about “out of installs” notices and how to fix it: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/license-key-out-of-installs/
2) When I try to update I get Warning: An unexpected error occurred. […]
This error message is indicating a problem with the server’s configuration. That is not something our plugins are causing, so there’s unfortunately not much insight we can provide on why this specific error is arising β I’m not sure. If you want specific help with this error message, I would recommend contacting your web host.
In the mean time, if you’re trying to update plugins, instead of trying to use the auto update feature from within your wp-admin, I would recommend just doing manual updates instead β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/
β Using manual updates is a way to get around that issue for now, so I would encourage doing this just to get plugins etc. updated and proceeding from there.
3) On the site http://www.internaltransformation.com/calendar/, when I click an event it says I have a problem with my cart?
This is not something our plugins would cause on their own, so there is a theme or plugin conflict on your site.
I would recommend doing the first two steps first if possible; from there, I would recommend then doing the complete set of troubleshooting steps on this page β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
β After EACH STEP in this testing process, try to replicate the issue where clicking and event goes to the “cart error” page. Does the issue go away anywhere along in the process?
Thanks!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Nicole,
Sorry to hear this! I cannot recreate that problem, and we don’t have any other reports of it happening, so it sounds like there’s a theme or plugin conflict happening on your site.
To help reveal or rule out the existence of such a conflict, here’s what I would recommend:
β’ Do the complete set of troubleshooting steps here β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
β’ After EACH STEP in that process, go back to an edit-event screen for a test event, refresh the page, and try to use the “add another rule” and other recurring event creation buttons; does anything improve anywhere along the way?Cheers!
