ParticipantI have suddenly lost the ability to create a recurring event. When I click on Add Another Rule (located next to Recurrence Rules), nothing happens. Can someone help with this?

ParticipantHey Nicole,
Sorry to hear this! I cannot recreate that problem, and we don’t have any other reports of it happening, so it sounds like there’s a theme or plugin conflict happening on your site.
To help reveal or rule out the existence of such a conflict, here’s what I would recommend:
• Do the complete set of troubleshooting steps here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
• After EACH STEP in that process, go back to an edit-event screen for a test event, refresh the page, and try to use the “add another rule” and other recurring event creation buttons; does anything improve anywhere along the way?Cheers!

ParticipantHi George,
According to tech I’m working with he says the following:
“OK, even with all plugins off and default them active, it will not work. See image below and share with their support and then report back here what they say.”
See image below. Thank you.

ParticipantHey Nicole,
Thanks for confirming this and doing that testing.
There is a known bug we’re working on that may be affecting this. To see if this is the case, the next thing I would recommend is to head to Settings → General in your site’s WordPress admin area.
Check your “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)” options.
1. If these options have different values, ensure their values are exactly the same.
2. If the options start with https://, try changing them both to http:// and saving your changes. If the options start with http://, however, then try changing them both to https:// and saving your changes.☝️ After doing this, check on the issue with the recurrence rules and let us know if this helps at all!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
