MemberGood evening and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the email submissions not going through.
I would love to help you with this topic.Just to clarify, do you mean that:
- You are not receiving any email notification of newly submitted events ?
- Your users are unable to submit events using email as an input ?
In case the answer to that question is 1, you can have the system send tickets from any chosen email address by simply installing, configuring and testing the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
Using a real SMTP server with authentication will bypass the built-in WP mail functionality altogether.
Please make sure you configure and test the settings using the plugin’s built-in tool.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Jorma and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the empty time slot being created on your calendar.
I would love to help you with this topic.I believe the issue stems from a customization of the day view in your WordPress theme.
The reason I am bringing this up is because your screenshot is very different than the way the day view looks by default: http://wpshindig.com/events/2017-10-10/Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!

Thank you for writing back.
As a side note, we can absolutely switch to French if you prefer. You are absolutely right, good catch!
These snippets will only work alongside the Events Calendar.I believe you will be better served with the following snippet as a foundation to work on: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/09005c81be890a562def47b05ae7fe3b
Let me know how that goes.

MemberI might have spoken to soon, try downgrading the Events Calendar to version 4.5.13: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
Once this is done:
- Save your permalinks
- Clear WPML’s cache from the troubleshooting page
- After a DB backup, feel free to click on the other buttons at the top of the troubleshooting page
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening,
Thank you for that answer, that email address or seedfaithmin should serve as a user login here: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/
I have just prompted a user password reset, so you should be getting an email at that address.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Genevieve,
I am sorry to hear that this did not work.
Some of these snippets need a bit of tweaking to get them to work to our specifications.I believe that by combining the ideas from https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/javascript-error-causes-customizer-issue-after-theme-update-and-wordpress-update/#post-1145312 in the following snippet should work: https://gist.github.com/elimn/e302522579650914e03048ebed146854
In other words, you will need to replace tribe-events-jquery-resize by tribe-events-select2
Fingers crossed!
Have a good weekend,
