MemberGood evening Lucy and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. To answer your question, your best bet is to use versions of the plugins that have a more or less similar release date.
Sometimes, you might even have to downgrade to a version of WordPress that was released initially around that same date.
In this case, your version of WooCommerce dates from March 2016, this would mean approximately: the Events Calendar, Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus 4.1.2
When something like this happens, after a backup of your database, we typically recommend downgrading back to the last working version of our plugins on your site.
I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic.Normally, our plugins operate great on vanilla versions of PHP.
There is no documentation of the php-calendar extension being required for the Events Calendar currently. That being said, if you can, it is always best to be able to test this on your staging server before deployment on your live site.

I would love to help you with this topic.I totally get where you are coming from. It is really nice to have a one-stop solution.
Unfortunately, at the present time, the email features we provide are fairly limited for attendees.
But we are absolutely working on improving that. So stay tuned! In fact, there is already a conversation on a similar feature in our User voice forum: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/8391186-reminder-emails-for-x-days-before-event
In the meantime, the only workarounds available are the ones you mentionned:
- Switching over to WooCommerce for RSVP (using free WooCommerce products).
This would enable you to add https://woocommerce.com/products/follow-up-emails/
I realize you do not want to use extra plugins, but that is the most elegant and efficient solution.
- Using CSV exports or automated feeds to populate something like a Mailchimp List.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Best regards,

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. The short answer is yes.
To use shortcodes, you will need to get a copy of the Events Calendar pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/This will provide you with many other awesome features, but will let you use the following shortcodes:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
In your case, I would highly recommend the Advanced list widget shortcode.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the admin interface and the additional attendee information not working properly on your site. I would love to help you with this topic.
I see that you are using Avada. Can you tell me what version you are using ?
Based on these symptoms, it sounds like you might have some template customization that needs updating.
This is usually found in either the <b>/tribe-events/</b> folder of your WordPress theme’s directory or in its <b>functions.php</b> file.
You can do a quick test to see if the problem persists while you temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen.
Or you could simply temporarily rename the<b>/tribe-events/</b> folder of your WordPress theme’s directory to <b>/z_tribe-events/</b>
Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors).Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic. In order to gain full power on your site’s look and feel, I would highly recommend reading the following articles:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-fonts-and-colours/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/styling-events-widgets/
As you can see between that and our options under Events -> Settings -> Display, most people can get a nice looking calendar.
If you want a bit more control over the rendering of each view, you can even use template overrides. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Carmen and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thanks so much for getting in touch!
I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for our free the Events Calendar users here in our pre-sales forum.
But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum and all our premium forums to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.
We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- On the WordPress.org support forum for the Events Calendar.
- If you’re a current premium license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.
With that in mind, it looks like your link now works properly.
Sometimes it is just a matter of re-saving options, flushing the permalinks and emptying the cache.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the admin interface no longer working properly on your website. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.
One quick thing to try is to downgrade the following plugins to the following versions:
- Event Tickets 4.5.7
- Event Tickets Plus 4.5.6
But by the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic.By the looks of it, one of the following things is probably causing the issue:
- We do not officially offer complete Polylang support yet.
Polylang Pro is known to work well with the Events Calendar.
Some of our customers have even achieved compatibility with other plugins such as Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.Try deactivating Polylang temporarily
- There could be a conflict with your theme or with one of the plugins. Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if that helps.
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing I would recommend is to try different setting for <b>Events template</b> under Events -> Settings -> Display
If that does not help, can you:
- Make sure there is no “real” page that has the http://elpaseocatalogue.com.routing.yourhost.co/events/ slug associated to it. The Events Calendar requires exclusivity over that slug
- Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
Could you also please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!

MemberGood evening Ferry,
Thank you for taking the time to write back.
I whole heartedly agree about the single event solution.
My goal was mostly to provide you with the alternative solutions we have on hand for now.I am not sure if you are able to see Mathew’s awesome answer, but he has come up with a revised version of the broken plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/content/uploads/2017/11/699d94aa81cdd8db.zip
Fair warning though, at this point it has not yet been tested, but I just sent it for QA.
Otherwise, it sounds like your best option is to do a very simple template override using our themer’s guide.
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic. You could tweak and apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/andrasguseo/b8e2739b11fdbd2d5ebacce23d862046#file-ical-export-events-custom-php
But first to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. While we do not have an official “trial license” or “demo license”, we do have a thirty-day, no-questions-asked refund policy that many folks use to facilitate a “trial period.”
This refund policy, which you can read about here, lets you tinker with the premium add-ons for up to thirty days; if you’re not satisfied, simply head to this page and request a refund. We process refunds in usually no more than a few more hours.
