MemberGood evening Ann and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the views other than the default one not working!
I would love to help you with this topic.I am pretty confident that this issue is caused by a faulty/corrupted version of the the Tribe Filter Bar premium add-on. The reason for this is because I had the exact same issue!
Could you try the following ? :
- Deactivating the Tribe Filter Bar add-on and deleting it completely (temporarily)
- Head to https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ and download a fresh copy of the latest version.
- Reinstall the Tribe Filter Bar add-on and activate it
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.

MemberHey Charrame,
Just a quick clarification on my great colleague Leah’s last post.
The fix she is referring to is the fact in regards to the URL being “broken” in the Edit Event screen (but it’s not broken on the front-end).
So this is separate from the image issue, just to avoid confusion.
I do not have a release date for that bugfix yet, but you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberHello again Christine,
Congratulations on finding the issue with WP-Rocket exception. I will share that along for everybody’s benefit.
You are 100% right about the week view on mobile. In fact, this has just been identified as a top priority bug.
As with the previous bug, you will be contacted as soon as it’s fixed.
In the meantime, here’s a temporary snippet that will redirect your visitors to the list view when attempting to reach the week view on mobile.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,

MemberHey Lang,
Congratulations on all the hard work.
I have good news and bad news. The good news is that you are almost there and I know why you can’t get things to display the way you want them to.
The bad news is that when you use a multilanguage plugin such as WPML, you need to use it for everything on your site (pages, posts, menus, etc..), not just certain parts (e.g.: events and the calendar).
What is happening right now is that your home page is still “in english” (the language code associated to it is en-US
As such, the proper language for the calendar and the widgets can’t kick-in.
It’s a bit time consuming to set everything up with WPML at first, but once it’s in place everything is super predictable, easy to control and more importantly much better for your SEO.
Hang in there!

MemberGood evening Yoni,
I am sorry to hear that you po/mo files are not being applied.
There could be a couple of reasons for that:
- Your po/mo files should have the -he_IL suffix (e.g.: event-tickets-plus-he_IL.po and event-tickets-plus-he_IL.mo)
- Your WordPress language should be set to Hebrew
- You have to make sure that your language files are preferably located in the folders below (and not in the /wp-content/languages/plugins folder
As requested here’s the complete path of where the pot file for each plugin is located:
- /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar.pot
- /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/lang/event-tickets-plus.pot
A word of warning, you will need to update the pot file from sources before translation since the pot files packaged with the plugins are not always up to date.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHey Aleix,
I’m sorry that the previous thread closed automatically.
That sometimes happen by accident when our automated thread robot sees a thread that wasn’t active for a while. In any case, I apologize for that.
The good news is that this would not have prevented you being contacted when the recurring event issue with WPML finally gets fixed. As such, I can confirm that this was not fixed as part of the 4.1 release (which in itself was more about new features than bugfixes).
I totally understand that this delay can be quite unsettling and we absolutely appreciate your patience while we iron out this one as fast as we can. The analysis has been completed and the cause of the issue found.
The ticket, alongside other bugfixes, will now go through the complete release cycle: dev, QA, smoke test, etc..
Unfortunately, I still cannot commit to a release date at this point. But I just relayed your feedback to our product team in the hopes that this will help.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberBonsoir Guillaume,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon to both of you,
In case you were not already made aware of this, the issue has been fixed since version 4.01 of the Events Calendar. You can now safely update your plugins.

Alright, let me know what you find out. I’m pretty confident it will help us identify the issue.
As for your second question, I recommend you study the following post to get you started: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/date-format-and-picker-in-community-submission-form/
Let me know if that helps.
Happy easter!

MemberGood evening Christine,
I’m sorry to hear that deactivating The Events Calendar Category Colors didn’t fix your issue.
I appreciate your patience while we try to fix this as fast as possible.
If that helps, the good news is that there is no other report of such an issue and that I am totally able to get the mobile monthly view working properly with a basic WordPress installation. So that means that we should be able to find a resolution.
But back to your situation, even if you did not specifically customize the agenda (monthly view), it is still possible that either a filter found in the functions.php file of your WordPress theme or another seemingly unrelated plugin or event your theme has some form of incompatibility.
The faster we are able to identify the exact cause, the sooner we’ll be able to fix it for you.
With that in mind, here are my recommended next steps:
- Could you try reinstalling (overwriting) the latest versions of our plugins ?
- Could you go through the complete testing for conflicts procedure mentioned above (including the theme) ?
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Jo,
Thank you for sharing the screenshot of your settings. That helps me to better understand what’s going on.
The good news is that this is not actually a bug per se, which mean you can totally get it to work you expect it to.
In fact, if you haven’t already done so, here’s an awesome guide about recurring events: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
But back to your specific event issue for a second. What’s going is that the first event is following the recurrence rules to the letter.
Specifically, the system understands the following: Repeat Small Group Study from April 7th at 10:30 every week once at 10:30 pm and once at 7:30 pm, which it does.
The issue is that it only starts the following week, hence the display you are seeing. My recommendation would be to do the following:
- Keep the initial event, but remove the second recurrence rule (the one that starts at 7:30 pm) and update the event.
- Create a new event with the exact same title that starts on April 7th at 7:30pm and that repeats every week.
This way you should be able to get the events to display exactly like you want them to.
Let me know how that goes.
Happy easter,
