MemberGood evening Michael and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. To answer your question the fix is currently undergoing code review and should be released fairly soon. In fact, you will be contacted as soon as it is.
With that in mind, in the meantime, yes, you could apply the snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top).
That is assuming the issue is caused by the fact that JS is not enabled.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the overrides not being picked up.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Sec0ndly, would you mind sending me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made, including the override.Hang in there!

MemberGood afternoon Monica,
I am super stoked that this helped you.
We will gladly help out with your other issue as well. However, to keep things nice and tidy (and to make sure we stay focused on Matt’s issue), please open a thread here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/event-aggregator/
This is the fastest way to get to the bottom of this as we do not provide support over Facebook alas.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Stefan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The answer to that question is yes.
You can pretty much tweak any view you like (and steal code from other views) using template/view customizations. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Additionally, you will want to read this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/url-as-word-button/
So in short, the best way to achieve your goal is to:
- Use the Website Event URL field (or something equivalent)
- Turn that into a button
- Move it around in the single event view if you want
- Steal that code and add it to the list view
- Upload your modified files back in your theme’s /tribe-events/ folder
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic. To the best of my knowledge everything is 100% translated in German.
That being said, the date and time format is typically not set by the language files, but rather by your settings under Events -> Settings -> Display.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Rudi and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. If you are using only Event Tickets, that is absolutely normal.
By going to Settings you are able to decide which post types can have tickets.
From there on, you can add the tickets directly to post or pages. If, on the other hand, you want our full blown solution (integration with the Events Calendar), you will need to install that plugin too: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar/
Finally, if you are looking for tickets that you can charge for, you will need to add our Event Tickets Plus premium add-on to your list of plugins: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Tracy and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about this intermittent issue on your calendar.
I would love to help you with this topic. But before doing so, I would highly recommend using the premium forums for the plugin you bought here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support-forums/
This allows you to share system information in private replies among other things (which is not possible in the Pre-Sales forum.
In turn, this helps the speed of resolution.
With that in mind, at the very least, I would need to know which site that is in order to take a look at it.
By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Marion,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. Is it possible to display the featured image above the title in list view and in single event view.
The short answer is yes. You can customize any view you like by doing a template (view) override.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.Basically you can open up the files of the list view and move around the sections to your liking.
Once that is done, you upload the modified file back under the /tribe-events/ folder of your WordPress theme.Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening David and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I believe you can accomplish this by doing a view customization.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.Basically:
- Locate the file responsible for the photo view and download it
- Do the same for the file containing the “Find our more” link
- “Steal the code”
- Bring it in the Photo view file
- Upload that file in your theme’s /tribe-events/ folder under the correct path.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
