Hi, when I look at the events in the backed of the site the description and some other items have a very short tab, so that the words are broken up and put underneath each other. I have tried updating Events plugins, disabled all other plugins, updated the theme, switched to WP 2016 theme, all to no avail.

My client has flagged it up and it does hamper usability, any ideas what the issue could be?

    Thanks, Matt

Good evening Matt and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the backed display being a bit wonky.
I would love to help you with this topic.

After a database backup, the first thing I would recommend is making sure that Event Tickets Plus, Community Events and the Events Calendar Pro are updated to their latest version.

It appears that they are dragging a few versions behind on that specific install.

If you are not seeing the updates, try heading over to [yoursite]/wp-admin/update-core.php

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

I’ve just purchased the upgrade to Events Calendar Pro along with the Events Ticket Plus plugin. They are all updated since they are new to me today, however, I’m having the same issue with the words in the “Title” tab not having enough space and being ultra long to scroll down and read properly. Please advise when this issue will be fixed.

    Good evening Monica,

    Thank you for chiming in.

I would highly recommend opening a separate thread so that we can troubleshoot your specific situation.

With that in mind, sometimes the issue can be caused by other causes.
The most common one being that there are too many columns trying to display.

This can be addressed by removing a few columns using the Screen Options menu located at the top right corner of wp-admin.

    Have a good weekend,

    Geoff B.

The screen options suggestion did the trick!! I removed Author column and
wala!! Thanks so much! Now, I’m trying to figure out where my free license
key moved to for Aggregator. I messaged you all at Facebook tonight, so if
I don’t get a response there, I’ll try you tomorrow for that issue.

I still have the key for the Facebook Events legacy importer, but after I
upgraded to Events Calendar Pro, the free license for me to “try”
Aggregator disappeared. I never tried it, however, since the legacy
importer expires soon…I will need it soon. Not sure what happened there.

    Thanks again for your help!

    Good afternoon Monica,

I am super stoked that this helped you.
We will gladly help out with your other issue as well.

However, to keep things nice and tidy (and to make sure we stay focused on Matt’s issue), please open a thread here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/event-aggregator/

This is the fastest way to get to the bottom of this as we do not provide support over Facebook alas.

    Have a great day!
