MemberGood afternoon Suzanne,
You can send a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end to [email protected]
Please note however that our support policy does not let us log into customers websites.
Additionally, just to set expectations, we are fairly limited in the ability to provide technical support for our free the Events Calendar users here in our pre-sales forum.Normally, we are more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- On the WordPress.org support forum for the Events Calendar.
- If you’re a current premium license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Kathleen and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the license key out of install message you have been getting.
I would love to help you with this topic. As it turns out, it seems like the license is tied to a dev installation of your website (10.2.20.7).
But, no worries, you can always simply move your license key around to fix this: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Tammy and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.
I think your approach is very sound. You can simply let one expire.
The good news is that there are no harmful consequence even if the subscription tied to your live website is no longer active. What would happen is that you will get a message telling you the subscription has expired and you would no longer be able to update your plugin from wp-admin.
As it stands, the situation is as follows:
- The subscription ending in December is tied to ccwcd.org
- The subscription ending in April is tied to http://www.ccwcd.org
It looks like you are using http://www.ccwcd.org (based on your system information).
But no worries, wether it is now or after the April subscription ends, you can simply move your licenses around: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/If you are not sure which is which, you can take a look at the license keys page (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/) and look at Events -> Settings -> Licenses
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Kirk and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. You are right. We have a brand spanking new platform that is scheduled to be released for early access at the end of March. Just as you described, you will be able to embed your calendar on any website that allows for oEmbed and iframes.
With that in mind, just to set expectations, Loxi (that is the name of the new platform) will not be the Events Calendar per se.
In other words, you will not find all the same features that are in the Events Calendar on day one.
Our main goal for launch is that our customers have access to a very user-friendly interface and a rock-solid slick looking calendar. The good news is that we will also be able to import events from your copy of the Events Calendar to Loxi.
I would recommend that you subscribe to the following newsletter to make sure you are informed as soon as it’s out: https://theeventscalendar.com/calendar-beyond-wordpress/

We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I have some pretty good news.
We are currently working on a new event platform that will do just that.
The early access release date is scheduled to be around the end of MarchI would recommend you read the following to get a sense of what it’s all about and to make sure you are contacted as soon as its out: https://theeventscalendar.com/calendar-beyond-wordpress/

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. After one year, when your license expires, the plugins will still work if you do not choose to renew.
But, you will most likely need to “freeze” your the Events Calendar related plugins to their current version (all of them).
You can choose to renew at any time and get access to both premium support and updates once again.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We’ll be glad to answer your questions. Is it possible to have an existing wordpress page, and then adding the calendar (via shortcode, ect) to the bottom of the page ?
Absolutely!
In order to do that, you simply need to grab a copy of the Events Calendar Pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
Once this premium add-on is installed and activated, you will have access to many great features, including shortcodes:

MemberHey there Sara,
Thank you for writing back,
Although I can totally understand your frustration, I would recommend not opening several tickets for a single topic.
As you can imagine, this actually slows down the response time for everybody.
With that in mind, I just reached out to my colleague Andras to make sure he gets back to you quickly on this one.Apparently there was a glitch with that other ticket where it was marked as “resolved” for some reason. We will absolutely investigate on that and we do apologize for the delay and inconvenience this has caused.
To speed things up, I would recommend that you provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link in that other thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/set-up-community-ticket-front-office/ – not here)?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
With that in mind, it looks like the issue you are describing has to do with the WordPress role and its permissions. Using a plugin such as Members should let you fix this: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/
You can test this using an admin role (which should display the additional links). From there you just need to find which capability is missing from the role your event organizers have.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Lars,
First of all, major kudos to you. Your efforts to troubleshoot the issue are quite remarkable.
As suggested in the troubleshooting link I sent earlier, the best approach is to deactivate everything and return to a barebones installation (this is best done on a testing or staging copy of your site – or at least while a maintenance page plugin is up and running).
In any case, the error messages you are getting seem to be related to deprecated ways of accessing certain parts of the email templates.
Provided you have upgraded everything (even all of your plugins), the possible culprits are:
- Fruitful, even at the latest version does not seem to have fully updated WooCommerce templates (which is a bit surprising). Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if that helps.
- If you have performed any type of customizations, please temporarily remove them (switching to a default WordPress theme usually solves that)
- Deactivate all non-essential plugins (including WooCommerce booster) and reactivate them one-by-one
I believe this should enable you to find out precisely what the cause of the bug is.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Stefano,
That is awesome to hear. Kudos!
Sometimes after an update, things can stick for a while because of caching (both at the server and browser level).
You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great weekend!
