MemberHi there, Matt! Thanks for getting in touch. 🙂
Great question. Yes, it sounds like you might be looking for the tribe_has_tickets() function. This checks and determines if the current event has tickets. You can also check out our full documentation for all the ticketing functions available. If you type “ticket” in the search, it will auto-suggest relevant classes and functions.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Sara! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome back to the forums. 🙂
Great question. The Community add on can definitely allow visitors to edit their event submissions.
The first thing is to make sure that this setting is enabled. Head over to Events > Settings > Community. There is an option under “Members” to “Edit their submissions.” Check that box and save your settings to enable it.
With that activated, visitors will be able to visit the Community landing page (e.g. [your-site]/events/community) and click the “My Events” button at the very top. From there, they will see a list of all their submissions and be able to edit each one individually.
Does that make sense? Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberGreat, thanks for doing that! It looks like Rocketscript was disabled, at least when I view the source code for your site. The bummer is that the issue still seems to be there.
The next thing I wold like to try is seeing if the issue is isolated to a theme or plugin conflict. Were you able to try the steps I provided above? They are detailed here in our Testing for Conflicts Guide.
Please give those steps a try and let me know what you find.
Thanks!

MemberHi there, Melissa! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums. We hope you’re enjoying the plugin so far. 🙂
Good question. The plugin actually does not include shortcode functionality right out of the box. It’s a feature we’re looking into but haven’t released yet.
In the meantime, you may want to consider a plugin like Event Rocket (not supported by us). It integrates with The Events Calendar and includes the ability to add calendars to pages using shortcodes. It also includes a few other handy features you might enjoy.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

MemberHi there, Matthew! Thanks for following up. 🙂
That’s something I would suggest contacting your host for since it’s a service they provide. However, I did find this article that might help as well. I haven’t tried it out myself, so please use it with caution, though contacting your host for assistance with disabling Rocketscript will be your best bet.
Please do that and let me know what you find.
Cheers!
