MemberHi Anne-Marrie and thanks for following up!
I installed a new WordPress site for testing with only the plugins you suggested, but I can’t reproduce the error in this site.
This is really interesting. Just to confirm, you are not experiencing any of the issue you have described on the production site on this new testing site, correct?
If that’s the case, let’s continue down this path because what this is telling me is that there is perhaps something installed on the production site that is interfering with things and we’ll want to pinpoint exactly what that is.
First off, will you please send me a link to the new test site? I’d like to have it for reference.
Secondly, will you please install the theme from your production site on the test site? Once you have done that, please test the transaction again and see if the issue of duplicated sales.
If you can recreate the issue with the theme active, let’s stop there. If not, please let me know and we can move on to testing the plugins that are on production to the test site.
Thanks!

MemberNo, Events Calendar PRO does not include Filter Bar. They are two separate plugins with different functionalities.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know!

MemberHey Kuldeep,
Thanks for following up!
Great question on filters — we do indeed have a plugin that is designed for filtering events called Filter Bar. It allows you to filter events by a number of variables, like categories, venues, organizers, time of day, day of week, among other items.
Let me know if you have any questions about Filter Bar and I’d be happy to help as best I can. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Cees,
So glad to hear that the plugin allowed you to assign a category to organizers — that’s awesome!
I’m unfortunately not as familiar with the slider plugin you are using than I am our own plugins. I would suggest reaching out to the plugin author to see if they have any tips for displaying posts now that you’ve been able to implement categories.
Thanks!

MemberHey Robert,
Yes, shortcodes are a feature of Events Calendar PRO, though unfortunately not included in The Events Calendar.
You can paste shortcodes into any WordPress page or post once Events Calendar PRO is activated.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Molly,
That is certainly strange! I honestly have not seen an order take so long to process before, but do indeed see that it has been stuck in Pending since 1/13.
I’m going to go on good faith here and generate am Event Aggregator license for you and just hope the order goes through as expected. At best, you can check your account now and the licenses should be in there. At worst, the order will go through and you will have two licenses. 🙂
Please let me know if the license I generated for you is not in your account and I’d be happy to look into it further.
Cheers!

MemberHi Sunny,
I hope you had a great weekend!
Yeah, the lack of being able to create a recurring event on the same day at different times is definitely a bummer and I’d like to see that supported in future versions as well — not to mention a good number of folks who have posted here in the forums.
There are indeed changelogs you can follow for when new versions are released:
https://theeventscalendar.com/release-schedule/
This page provides an overview of our release cycle as well as links to our most recent release notes. I’d recommend staying tuned there, or perhaps even following us on Twitter for when updates are released.
Cheers and have a great day!

MemberHey Gregg (ack, missed the second “g” last time!)
A booking calendar is one that would be better suited for taking appointments and having a waiting list for when timeslots are not available to be booked.
By contrast, our plugins are more designed around a calendar of events. You can certainly use our plugins for selling seats in a course (and it would do that well), but the automated workflow for waiting lists and email communications that you might typically expect with a true booking system would be lacking for sure.
Does this help clarify my last answer a bit? That was a great question to distinguish the two, so please let me know if I can help answer any other questions about how our system works and I’d be happy to. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHowdy Len,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Yes, it is possible for your management team to add events to the calendar.
You can either give them admin access in WordPress so that they can add their events to the calendar that way. Or, you can check out our Community Events add-on, which adds a submission form to your site that they can use to submit events to the calendar without needing to log in. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Robert,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Yes, it is possible to display past events in a shortcode using Events Calendar PRO. There are a number of shortcodes available in the plugin and they allow you to filter events by date. Here are more details on how that works:

Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi @Cees,
Great question! It would certainly take some development to create a custom taxonomy and then to make that taxonomy available for Organizers. However, there is a pretty handy plugin that can make this a lot easier and I’d recommend giving it a try:
I just tested that out and it allowed me to create a new custom taxonomy and then apply to specifically to Organizers.
Will that work for you as well? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi Marcial,
Thanks for getting in touch and I hope you had a great weekend!
I think we can resolve this by making the height of the calendar navigation taller to avoid being so close to the top of the screen.
Pleas try adding this to your theme’s style.css file or by pasting in the Appearance > Customize > Advanced CSS screen:
#tribe-bar-form { padding: 130px; }That should push things down a bit so the datepicker remains on the screen. Here’s a screenshot of how that looks when I test it out. Let me know if it works for you as well!

MemberHi Greg,
Thanks for getting in touch!
I would love to say that our plugins are the perfect fit, but I don’t think they will be for this project. The Events Calendar is great for displaying a calendar of events and Event Tickets (as well as Event Tickets Plus) is great for selling tickets for those events, but the system is not really designed for booking courses and does not have built in email communications that would automate things in the way you’re describing.
My recommendation is to look for plugins that are built around booking capabilities. Here’s a quick search on the WordPress plugin directory that might help you gets started.
Sorry for the bad news about our plugins, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers,
