MemberHi Stephen–thanks for following up!
Awesome, i’m glad the snippet worked for the second issue there. ๐
What happens if you set a specific time range for the event? For example, instead of using “All Day” try using a specific time range for the open and closing times of the event (e.g. 8am – 5pm). Does the event show as passed in that circumstance?
Cheers!

MemberHi omnisara–welcome to the forums!
Good question. That actually not something we offer right out of the box, but might be possible with some custom development. We do, however, have the option to show related events under Events > Settings > Display. This will show information for related events in the recurring series for an event.
Otherwise, I think that would be something you would have to link to manually within the event description.
Sorry I don’t have a concrete answer for you here, but does this at least help? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

MemberActually, it looks as though the version 3.9.5 just released. If you haven’t received an update notice yet, you can head log into this site here and head to My Account > Downloads to pick up the latest copy. ๐

MemberHi there, John!
Yes, I see what you mean. I was able to reproduce the same error on my local setup.
The good news though is that the issue is set to be resolved in the next release–which we should see pop up very soon. I tested this on the forthcoming version and everything appeared to import correctly, including displaying the tickets box on the front end.
Sorry for the inconvenience here–please be on the lookout for Eventbrite Tickets 3.9.5 to come out and let’s see if that clears the issue up for you as well.
Cheers!

MemberHello Kyla! Thanks for getting in touch–we’re stoked you’re checking out the ticketing plugins. ๐
(1) Can I change the order that the ticket types appear for each event?
By default, the tickets are in descending orderย by the the most recently created ticket. There are a few ways to change the order of tickets, but those would change the order on a global basis rather than per-event.
(2) Can each ticket type request different information about the attendee (for example, can an adult ticket request different information than a child ticket?
Unfortunately, no. This is definitely something we’re interested in doing and are actively looking into, but I’m afraid not at this moment and without a timeframe for when it would be available.
(3) Can I offer add-ons to the cart such as meals, linens, etc.?
You might be able to accomplish this by integrating Advanced Custom Fields into the WooCommerce checkout, but it’s not something that comes with our ticketing plugins right out of the box, I’m afraid.
Is there anything else I can help you with here? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHey there joinfof!
Have you tried flushing your permalinksย (Settings > Permalinks > Save). It looks like a redirect loop issue and flushing permalinks is a common solution for that. ๐

MemberHey there, Tom!
Great questions–let’s tackle them one at a time. ๐
1. Can you make sure the view is always defaulted to Map view at all times?
Absolutely. There is an option to set the default view under Events > Settings > Display. You can even remove views from the front end.
2.ย do you have a โpackageโ for someone that wants the pro version along with the Community Events and Filter Bar plugins together?
Unfortunately, no. We do offer discounts and promotions from time to time in our newsletter (bottom of this page) and Twitterย so those wold be two places to keep an eye on for sure.
3. Any plans to allow a subscription charge for users to sign up for an account so they can submit events?
Yeah, this isย a popular feature request and something that we’re looking into. As you can imagine, it would take a fairly substantial update, so while we don’t have a timeframe on it, it is certainly under review and on our radar.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

MemberHowdy Ben!
You’re right–that would be an awesome feature for sure.ย While it’s not currently possible right out of the box, we do have an open feature request for this over on our UserVoice forum. It would be great if you added your vote there, which will keep you posted as developments are made. ๐
Cheers!

MemberThanks Denise! You’re actually running the latest and greatest of each plugin and that 3.9.1 of mine was a typo–so we’re all good there. ๐
The next thing I would like to try here is creating a fresh test site–this will ensure that we’ve effectively got a “clean canvas” to work with.
- Please install a fresh copy of WordPress in a subdirectory, like you have with the /working directory that’s already set up
- Don’t install anything except The Events Calendar, WooCommerce and WooCommerce Tickets
- Please also stick to a default theme–again, there’s no need to install anything else–including your theme–just yet!
- Create a few events and tickets so we have some test data to work with
- Can you replicate the same problem?
If you find you can replicate the problem under these conditions it would be awesome if you could stop and let us know so we can take a look while the site is still running under default conditions.
Thanks for your help!
