MemberHey Chris! thanks for getting in touch. I’m stoke to hear you’re considering one of our ticketing plugins and hope one of them will fit the bill for your project. 🙂
Good question. The flow for the ticketing plugins follows this pattern:
- Publish an event
- Add a ticket to the event (from the post editor)
- Visitor purchases ticket
- An email notification is sent to the admin by the ecommerce plugin being used (e.g. WooCommerce)
- The transaction is completed and the visitors receives a receipt–again, by the ecommerce plugin being used
- A digital ticket is sent to the visitor over email
- Visitor prints the ticket and brings it to the door
- Check the visitor in via the WP back end
We are currently testing a new feature that will add QR codes to the tickets–this is awesome because it will allow you to scan the ticket at the door, which will automatically check visitors in. There is no target date for that to release just yet, but it is being tested.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Rick,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the timeout issues here when importing events from Facebook.
Just to clarify: is the timeout happening when you’ve added 20 Facebook pages to check or when you’ve imported 20 Facebook events?
If the issue is after adding 20 pages, then I would imagine that having the plugin check that many sources at a scheduled time would be pretty taxing on any server, especially a shared host if you happen to use one.
In that case, does the issue resolve if you use a smaller number of pages to check? How about 2 or 3 instead? If you’re
Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂

MemberHi Salina,
So glad this works out for you:
When I go into WooCommerce and add the already existing ticket to the test category, Update it, and then remove the test category and reUpdate, the price shows on the event and the ticket adds to the cart.
Thanks for sharing that with me and sorry I wasn’t able to replicate the same issue here on my end. I’m not thrilled about the extra needed step but I’m also glad there seems to be a resolution that makes the transactions process function as it should.
Cheers,

MemberHey Ken, good question!
We would be happy to share a list of freelancers who may be able to help. Send us an email to support [at] theeventscalendar.com, reference this thread, and we’d be happy to send that over if it’s something you’d be interested in. 🙂

MemberHey Martin, welcome back to the forums!
That’s a pretty cool feature–nice work. 🙂
Yeah, embedding the full Month View unfortunately is not something that’s offered right out of the box. There is, however, another plugin called Event Rocket that might help in this situation. It has it’s own collection of shortcodes that enhances The Event Calendar and I believe Month View is one of the options–that might be worth checking out.
Otherwise, I think you’d be getting into an area where there would be a fair amount of custom development involved.
I like that string in the header that displays the next event! I think the best way to pull it off would be to create a new query for events in that area using tribe_get_events() and calling for the the next one upcoming event. From there, you can loop through to show the time and title as you’ve mocked up there.
I think your JS function will be just fine for the toggle, especially for simply hiding and showing the calendar on click.
Very nice work! Let me know if you have any follow-up questions here and I’d be happy to help as best I can. 🙂
Cheers,

MemberHey Mike, thanks for reaching out!
Man, that sounds like a very cool feature you’re working on. 🙂
I’m honestly unfamiliar with the CMB2 plugin, but I checked it out and found this example of query for posts inside of a metabox. It would seem that a similar pattern would work by using <i>tribe-events</i> in the post-type query. Does that work for you?
Then again, I suppose it could also depend on what sort of metabox you’re creating and what you are hoping it will do. Let me know if that example helps or perhaps you can share a little more about how you’re using that query and we cankeep digging. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Bob, thanks for following up! Sorry this issue is still cropping up.
One other possibility is that perhaps one or both plugins didn’t fully install during the updates. Will you please try following these steps to re-install both The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO manually?
You can grab a fresh copy of The Events Calendar here on WordPress.org and one for The Events Calendar PRO here on this site by logging in and heading to My Account > Downloads.
Then, ultimately, I think we should try our standard troubleshooting steps just to rule out any possible conflicts. I know you’ve already tried a couple of these steps, but it wold be great if you could try going through this guide step-by-step if the issue is still happening after re-install so we can cover our bases. 🙂
Thanks so much!

MemberHi Keith,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the trouble here with the Month View.
It looks like your Month View is stuck in mobile view rather than the full desktop view. Please try referring to this article here, which includes a couple of solutions for ensuring the desktop view is used instead.
I’m going to go ahead and move this thread to our PRO forums–we typically use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions related to purchasing the plugin.:)

MemberHey bwerner120–nice to see you again and hope all is well. 🙂
Very strange! Do you happen to have a link where I can see Filter Bar in action on your site? It looks like it might be disabled, so I’m having a tough time checking into it on this end.
I did notice this error in the console while I was checking things out:
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
Is your theme or another plugin trying to add another instance of the Google Maps API than the one already included in The Events Calendar? If so, I really wonder if the crossed wires are tripping up Filter Bar since it heavily relies on JS and would potentially have a tough time rendering with other conflicts on the page. Please try clearing that error out (and be sure to clear your site’s cache as well) and let’s see if that helps speed things up.
Cheers!

MemberHello Bob,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the trouble here!
Do you happen to be running The Events Calendar 3.10.1? If so, are you running The Events Calendar PRO 3.10.1 as well, or is it a different version? Definitely make sure both plugins are running the same version, as that could be causing the issue here.
Once you’ve confirmed that the version numbers are the same, please try the suggestions here. They’re still good to test for 500 errors, even though the article is geared toward 404 errors. It may not help, but it is good to rule this out.
I see that you tried the following:
Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
Switched to a default theme? YesDid you notice any difference in those conditions? How about if you switch to a default WordPress theme (Twenty Fifteen is a good test)Â and deactivate all other plugins at the same time? Do you notice a difference then?
Lastly, do you have any custom coding for The Events Calendar or any coding that changes permalinks or flushes them?
Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Randy–thanks for checking out The Events Calendar! I’m stoked you’re giving it a good look and I hope it’s a fit for your site. 🙂
Good question. We do have an online demo that shows a default installation of the plugin.
As far as seeing how it works on your own site with your theme, The Events Calendar itself is a free download on WordPress.org and will give you a solid idea of how the calendar will work with your site. We also offer a full refund on all our purchases within 30 days, so if you decide to give The Events Calendar PRO a try, you can do so with no risk at all.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions here and I’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!
