GuestRegarding your ticket plugin.
Hi before we buy how does the check in process work?
Do tickets get emailed out as soon as the customer has cleared the checkout? does the order automatically clear or does the admin have to set it as complete before the ticket gets emailed out?How does the event organiser collect the tickets and decrease the counter in the attendees dashboard page?
Is this a manual process or scan in?

MemberHey Chris! thanks for getting in touch. I’m stoke to hear you’re considering one of our ticketing plugins and hope one of them will fit the bill for your project. ๐
Good question. The flow for the ticketing plugins follows this pattern:
- Publish an event
- Add a ticket to the event (from the post editor)
- Visitor purchases ticket
- An email notification is sent to the admin by the ecommerce plugin being used (e.g. WooCommerce)
- The transaction is completed and the visitors receives a receipt–again, by the ecommerce plugin being used
- A digital ticket is sent to the visitor over email
- Visitor prints the ticket and brings it to the door
- Check the visitor in via the WP back end
We are currently testing a new feature that will add QR codes to the tickets–this is awesome because it will allow you to scan the ticket at the door, which will automatically check visitors in. There is no target date for that to release just yet, but it is being tested.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

Are you all good on this thread? Did my last reply answerย your question on the ticket flow or do you still have other questions related to that I can help with?
Cheers!
