GuestHi i am a developer and have some questions before i buy.
We would like to sell tickets for traveling events using the Events Calendar Tickets. This is good as we can just get them to buy the tickets however some customers might want to spread the cost of purchasing a traveling event as some events are hundreds of £pounds so we are considering using WooCommerces Subscription plugin on top of the Events Calendar Tickets plugin.
I know when you create an event with Events Calendar Tickets it automatically creates a product in woocommerce.
I know that WooCommerces Subscription require you to use the simple subscription option from the product data dropdown.Do products that automatically get generated by products Events Calendar Tickets use their own product data dropdown option?
I am thinking of adding a link from the Events Calendar Tickets event page over to the default woocommerce product so that users can find the relating product as a subscription.
For products created by Events Calendar Tickets are the default woocommerce products landing pages still accessible when they link to an event?

Guestok. After searching for some time i can accross this page:
Does this mean i can definatly use subscriptions using the methods outlined?
Also will i definatly be able to use woocommerce Product Add-Ons? as i need to increase the price depending on if the customer wants a meal at the event.July 18, 2015 at 8:48 am #987573George
ParticipantHi Chris,
While I cannot say definitively whether WooCommerce Tickets will work the Subscription or other WooCommerce add-ons, The Events Calendar’s ticketing add-ons do, indeed, create each ticket as a “Product” within WooCommerce.
So if the WooCommerce add-on itself is built to work with “Products” specifically, then it should work well with The Events Calendar tickets add-on.
However, the best way to test is to try – both The Events Calendar add-ons and WooCommerce add-ons have a great refund policy, so if you buy WooCommerce Tickets from us and then whatever WooCommerce add-ons you want from them, you have a little under 30 days to try them out on your site and see if they will work together. If not, you can get a refund in full, for both products 🙂
I hope that helps!
Cheers,

ParticipantHi i have managed to get the product addons working. Variations overwrite the ticket price but that is to be expected. As i will be using product addons i can set variations as addons… so all good.
I haven’t tried the subscriptions addon yet as its $200 and haven’t even won the work yet. so might figure that out later. Might post back if i get it working…
In the madness I have accidentally purchased the eventbrite tickets plugin as well as the woocommerce tickets.
So i have asked for a refund on the eventbrite tickets plugin. I emailed support hopefully that’s the correct place to ask for a refund?July 20, 2015 at 8:20 am #987844George
ParticipantThanks for the update Christopher, keep us posted on the add-ons.
As for your refund issue:
So i have asked for a refund on the eventbrite tickets plugin. I emailed support hopefully that’s the correct place to ask for a refund?
Yes, this is correct course of action and we’ll be getting back to you shortly over email with more information about the refund. Stay tuned!
Thanks,
