MemberHey @mediamouse — that sounds like a possible javascript conflict with the theme or another plugin. Will you please try testing for conflicts using the steps in this article and, if you continue to see the issue in default conditions, open a new thread for us here in the Filter Bar support forum? Thanks!
Rene — thanks for chiming in! Filter Bar is only designed to work with The Events Calendar, so it will only be used once, which is where the calendar is.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread since it seems we’ve covered the answer for the first question posed in this thread, but please feel free to start a new thread if there are any other questions and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Scott,
My sincere apologies on this! We actually were able to create a patch for this on Friday and I just hadn’t had the opportunity to update this thread.
Will you please installing this plugin (zip)? Our developer whipped it up as a possible patch and I’m hoping it will do the trick. Let me know if it does!
Thanks and sorry again for the missed communication.

MemberHi Steve!
If you have the Event > Display settings set to use one of your theme templates, then it is possible to use the widget area from the template that is selected.
If you want more control over the sidebar area, I would suggest checking out this article which shows how Jetpack’s Widget Visibility plugin can be used to help.
And, there is always the ability to override any calendar template and there’s a ton of information on that here in our Themer’s Guide.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Oskar and thanks for reaching out!
At the moment, Event Tickets only collects the information of the person purchasing the ticket. So, for example, if that person is buying tickets for multiple people, the plugin will only ask for the purchaser’s information and will be the only person in the attendee list for those tickets.
If that person wants to buy a ticket for another event, they can do so after checking out from the first ticket purchase.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Thanks!
GeoffDecember 4, 2015 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Trouble switching from "month" to "list" to "day" (etc.) views. #1035810Geoff
MemberHey there, and holy smokes thanks for the kind words! I’m SUPER stoked you’re loving 4.0 so far. We put a ton of effort into and so hearing such a glowing review is music to my ears as well as the rest of the team. 🙂
1) My default view for search results is “list.”
Whoa, good eye! You are absolutely correct and the filters should be respected when switching. I’ve ticketed this in our system and will update this thread when I know more.
2) When I switch from “list” to “day” view, the “date” box selects today’s date (as it should).
That a good idea. I’ll log this as a feature request in our system, but can’t guarantee we will be able to work it into a specific release.
3) Finally, this is just a wish of mine: “Map” view would be SO much more useful if it included the date and time of events in the little pop-ups
That’s a cool idea as well. Would you be willing to share that in our feature request forum? That can help us get it out in the open and see how many others would find it useful as well.
Thanks a gain for all the kind words and definitely for the feedback as well! I’m stoked to see you’re getting solid traction out of the plugins and are down to let us know how they can be even better. 🙂
Cheers!
GeoffDecember 4, 2015 at 3:21 pm in reply to: Does v4 offer 'AND' behaviour rather than 'OR' logic? #1035802Geoff
MemberHey there!
I wish I could be the bearer of good news, but I’m afraid Filter Bar is still configured to OR and does not support AND conditions just yet. I double-checked to make sure and that’s where things are at.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHey Nedko,
Thanks for your help with translations! I went ahead and generated a fresh license for Community Events, which you can find in your account here on the site, under My Account > Licenses.
Thanks again contributing to the project!
