MemberHey Conor — thanks for reaching out and I’m stoked to see you giving Event Tickets Plus a spin. 🙂
We do have a pretty handy tutorial on how to move the ticket form without touching the plugin code that I’d suggest checking out.
As far as editing the layout of the form, you can find the template for it at:Â /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus in the subfolder of the ecommerce platform you are using for ticket sales (e.g. WooCommerce).
From there, do check out our Themer’s Guide because it offers guidance on how to make a copy of the template and use it in your theme rather than editing the plugin’s core code.
Does this help you get started? Let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHello Miah,
Good question! I’m afraid this sort of redirect would require a bit more custom development that we can support here in the forums. However, I did find this thread which provides a similar solution for forcing List View in mobile. Hopefully that gives you a starting point to work off of.
The search feature uses AJAX by default, so I would suggest disabling it so that a full page refresh happens, which would allow you to intercept the search URL and append it to the List View URL.
Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution for you here, but will this at least help you get started? Please let me know.
Thanks!

MemberHey David and thanks for reaching out! Glad you’re loving The Events Calendar so far. 🙂
Yeah, redirects themselves based on a custom field might be possible but would take a fair amount of custom development to achieve. A couple of options to consider:
- Using the Additional Fields feature in PRO to display a link to the alternative landing page on the single event view
- Using a plugin like Redirection to manage and facilitate the redirects
Sorry this doesn’t come right out of the box, but does this at least give you something to work with? Let me know if you have any other questions and I’d be happy to help as best I can.
Thanks!

MemberHi Rhodo and thanks for getting in touch!
Good question. While moving Filter Bar to other pages isn;t something the plugin supports right out of the box, it is possible to do it with custom coding. I found this post that–while a little dated–illustrates how that might work.
From there, you could display it however you would like — whether that is on a background image or some other design layout.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Annamaria,
Good question! Yes, you can keep two sites with different installations of The Events Calendar in sync with one another using our iCal Importer plugin. It allows you to import events from one site to another and do so on a scheduled basis–so, you can set it to run every hour and it will fetch the latest events from there and publish them for you.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know and I hope this is a good fit for what you’re looking for!

MemberHi Stephanie, thanks for reaching out and following up as well!
I finally did receive a email, took about 15 minutes. Is that normal?
Nice, I’m glad the email finally arrived! The email triggers as soon as the submission takes place and, from there, is dependent on WordPress’ email function and the site’s email server to do the rest. So, while 15 minutes is not what I would consider normal, it sounds like the functionality offered in the plugin is working.
Also, the link on the email takes me to a page to edit the image, not to edit the event submission.
This is indeed a known bug and we have it on our radar to patch up. I don’t have a timeframe for when a fix will be available, but I have added this thread to the ticket in our system and will follow up with you when I know more–thanks for the heads up!

MemberThanks for following up! This does help and I appreciate the extra info.
A couple of other questions:
- Does the message go away if you switch to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Sixteen) and deactivate all other plugins?
- When did the message start showing up? Has it always done that, or did it work before and then suddenly stop? If it suddenly stopped, can you think of any changes on the site that happened around that same time?
Thanks!

MemberThanks! Sounds like there is something fishy for sure.
I haven’t been able to see the same issue when testing on a site of my own, so let’s try some more troubleshooting. Will you please run through the steps outlined in this article and let me know what if the dots on days are still not there when the site is in default conditions?
And, in the meantime, if you can check the username and password for accessing the page, that would be awesome as well.
Thanks!

MemberSweet, glad that helped! Template overrides are pretty awesome, right?!
I think the best spot to find about the calendar’s functions is here at our documentation:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/functions/
We try to wrap as many things into functions as possible, so you should be able to find functions for most anything you’re looking for. For event description, however, we simply use the the same thing as default WordPress: the_excerpt()
Any other questions here about templating? Let me know. 🙂

MemberCool, thanks for following up and confirming that new recurring events are working.
It looks like the “Previous Events” issue is something that has been ticketed in our system. I’ll add this thread to the ticket and, while I don’t have a timeframe for when it will be resolved, I will follow up with you directly in this thread when I know more.
Thanks!

MemberAwesome! Happy to help. 🙂
That text can be located in one of three places:
- Events > Settings > Display at the bottom of the screen
- In your functions.php file as a snippet
- In the tribe-events/month.php template (or another template within the month subfolder)
Is it in any of those locations? Let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHey Giorgio and thanks for getting in touch! I hope our system will be a good fit for your project.
Yes, each ticket can be given a unique ID. There is a field where you can add the number (screenshot). And, yes, you can set the start and end sale dates for each ticket and make those dates independent of the the event date itself.
Event Tickets Plus does not support custom notes during checkout (though we are working on it). However, WooCommerce does have an “Additional Information” section at checkout (screensnhot) where that could happen.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!
