    Hello,

    I’ve noticed that the demo of your mini calendar widget has dots, or bullets on certain days.
    When I place the calendar widget on my sidebar, I don’t see the bullets on any of the days.

    Could you help please?

    Thank you kindly.

    Hi Nima and thanks for reaching out!

    The dots represent days with scheduled events. Do the days without dots on your widget have events and the dot simply isn’t showing? If so, please send me a link to where I can check it out and I’d be happy to look into it.

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    Hi Nima,

    Thanks for following up!

    Sorry, looks like that username/password combo isn’t letting me in for some reason. I can still try to help you out though.

    Do the days without dots on your widget have events and the dot simply isn’t showing?

    Can you tell me if that’s the case? That will tell me a lot.

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    Thanks! Sounds like there is something fishy for sure.

    I haven’t been able to see the same issue when testing on a site of my own, so let’s try some more troubleshooting. Will you please run through the steps outlined in this article and let me know what if the dots on days are still not there when the site is in default conditions?

    And, in the meantime, if you can check the username and password for accessing the page, that would be awesome as well.

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    Thanks, Nima!

    I do see that the dots show up on the main calendar in mobile view (screenshot). I can’t see what exactly is causing the dots to not show up on the widget. However, it does appear to be a conflict with Avada. Have you reached out to them to look into it? The theme comes with many customizations to the calendar that we unfortunately are unable to support here but they will be able to help with. Let me know if any questions come up in that exchange and I’d be happy to help as best I can.

    Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution here for you but I hope this at least gets the ball rolling in the right direction!

    Thanks,
    Geoff

    Thanks for all the help Geoff,

    I’m just new to this plugin, and it seems like there’s a lot to be learned.

    I’ll contact Avada and see what they have to say, maybe you’d want to keep this post open for just a few days in case I need to come back to you.

    Anyway, thank you again for the help – much appreciated.

    Note: Strangely when I view it in mobile view the bullets don’t show for me.

    Thanks to your advice, I got to solve the problem and didn’t need to contact Avada either.

    For some reason there was this line in the CSS of the Avada theme by default:

    .tribe-mini-calendar td.tribe-events-has-events div[id*=’daynum-‘] a:before {
    display: none; }

    Which is targeting the bullets! Simply commented out this line and the bullets showed.

    I’ll definitely keep this thread open! Please do note that the site auto-closes threads after two weeks of inactivity, so be sure to follow-up within that window. Of course, you can always open a new thread at that time as well, but at least wanted to give you a heads up. 🙂
