MemberHi John,
When looping through tickets on a specific event, I typically add something like this to the loop:
$ticket_product_id = get_post_meta( $ticket['ticket_id'], '_tribe_wooticket_product', true ); $ticket_product = get_post( $ticket_product_id );Geoff

MemberHi Bob,
It looks like my last reply was marked as the correct answer, but I wanted to follow up and make sure you didn’t have any other questions about centering the countdown widget before closing this thread. Is everything there good?
Thanks!

MemberHi Joel and thanks for getting in touch! I’m so glad to hear you’re considering the plugins.
Normally, I would suggest the following plugins:
- The Events Calendar (free)
- Event Tickets (free)
- Event Tickets Plus
- WooCommerce (free)
The only problem with this combination is that it will not allow guests to select a seat prior to purchasing a ticket. In other words, it works best with general admissions.
You consider Eventbrite Tickets instead. When used with The Events Calendar, it allows you to create events on Eventbrite.com, import them into your site, then sell tickets on Eventbrite.com. Eventbrite has seat selection features and I imagine that will be the closest thing we offer that matches what you’re looking for.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi @tracylove,
Sorry for the trouble here, but I can help you troubleshoot this.
Let’s start with a few questions:
- Are order receipts successfully being sent for non-ticket purchases?
- If the answer above is no, what happens if you temporarily deactivate Event Tickets Plus and place an order then – do the emails come through?
- If they don’t come through for non-ticket purchases, whether or not Event Tickets Plus is active, perhaps there is some other conflict blocking WooCommerce or stopping wp_mail() (the part of WordPress that sends emails) from working?
- Ultimately, would you be able to run through our standard troubleshooting steps – but be sure not to deactivate WooCommerce itself – and see if you can uncover any conflicts?
Let’s start there and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberHi Bart,
Digging into this a bit, it seems to be that there was a change in Yoast SEO that prevents the snippet from working. Instead, try heading to SEO > Titles & Metas, then scroll down to the Custom Post Type Archives section.
In that section, there is a place to change the title settings for the Events Archive (screenshot). Delete what is in that field, save the settings and that will put the page title back in a default state–at least, it did on my test site.
Let me know if that works any better, thanks!

MemberHi Adam,
Yes, that all sounds correct to me.
One thing to clarify:
but the “community bundle” doesn’t include “events calendar pro”, so I’d have to use the free calendar version
Events Calendar PROÂ is an extension to The Events Calendar. In other words, The Events Calendar is required to be installed in order to run Events Calendar PRO and doing so introduces several PRO features to the calendar, like recurring events and additional views.
I wanted to make sure that was crystal clear because the comment above sounded like there might be some confusion there between the two.
Thanks!

MemberGreat! I always prefer knowing what it was that was causing the issue, but I’m stoked to hear all is working as expected. Thanks for following up to let me know and please feel free to hit us with a new thread if it comes back up for any reason.

MemberHi Michael,
Good question! It is not currently possible right of the box. I have seen a request for a feature that would email customers if an event has been canceled or changed, but not for an email to customers once they have been checked in for an event. Would you mind adding that to our feature request forum? I’d be interested to see how many others would find that useful as well.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks,

MemberHello Barbara and thanks for getting in touch! I’m glad to hear you’re checking out the plugins and I hope they’re a good fit for your site. 🙂
Good question. You can add basic RSVP functionality to The Events Calendar by installing our new (free) Event Tickets plugin. If you want to sell tickets for events, then Event Ticket Plus is the way to go because it integrates with ecommerce plugins, like WooCommerce, to sell tickets for the events created in The Events Calendar.
While Event Tickets Plus does allow registration, it should be noted that it does not collect information for each person when multiple tickets are purchased in the same transaction. That is something we are working on and hope to release in 4.1, our next major release.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
