ParticipantI am using the list widget from the Events Calendar Pro on the homepage of my site. None of the styles are picking up, the inspector doesn’t show any tribe styles. I want the list widget to have the calendar-style list-date image, but everything is shown in plain text. Can you help me figure out why?

MemberHello Katie,
Sorry for the trouble here with styling!
Do you happen to know if there is a folder in the theme file called tribe-events? That list widget looks quite different than what comes right out of the box, so I want to see if there are any customized files that would make that happen.
Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂
Thanks!

ParticipantNo, I don’t have a tribe-events folder in my theme directory. I only just installed the plugin today.

MemberWill you please head to Events > Settings > Display and let me know what style setting (screenshot) is currently selected?
Thanks!

ParticipantI currently have “Full Styles” enabled but have tried all 3 and get no change in this issue. I don’t want to do any styling, just want the plugin’s default PRO styling.

MemberHi Kate,
Will you please do one more thing for me and head to Events > Settings > Help, copy the System Information at the bottom of the screen and paste it here as a private reply? This will show me all your calendar settings and give me an idea of what else is happening on the site.
My hunch is that the theme is overriding the calendar’s styles. I wonder, for example, if the default styling for the calendar is intact when switching to a default WordPress theme. You could try that as well and let me know if the styles show up in a default condition.
Thanks!

MemberThanks Kate!
Oh, interesting — so, the list widget is similarly not styled when Twenty Fourteen is activated?
How is the list widget being added to the page? Did you add it to a sidebar via Appearance > Widgets, or are you using the Page Builder plugin to add it? The reason I ask is because I have seen instances where The Events Calendar does not integrate with page building plugins and I’m wondering if this could be the case.
Thanks!

MemberGreat! I always prefer knowing what it was that was causing the issue, but I’m stoked to hear all is working as expected. Thanks for following up to let me know and please feel free to hit us with a new thread if it comes back up for any reason.
Thanks!
