MemberHi Annette,
Sorry for the trouble! Let’s see what’s happening here, together.
once community events was added, the event page is not seeing the layout correctly. It used to see my themes colors, now it has green behind the sidebar titles.
Do you happen to have a link or screenshot you can share where I can see this? I tried searching around the site a bit but was unable to notice the green or layout issues, so any help you can provide would be awesome.
Additionally there is an overlay covering the featured image instead of displaying beside it.
I see you are using the Avada theme. That’s great, but is worth noting that it includes a lot of customizations to The Events Calendar that are not part of the plugin by default. The overlay on the image is one of those customizations so, I think it would be better to reach out to the fine folks at Theme Fusion for help troubleshooting that specific customization since they have a better understanding of it. And, of course, I’d be happy to leave this thread open in case any questions pop up that I can help answer from the plugin side of things.
Let’s start here and see what we find. π
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Graeme and welcome to the forums. Sorry for the trouble here with syncing events with Eventbrite, but I’m happy to dig into it with you and see what’s happening.
First off, I see you also have the Eventbrite API plugin installed in addition to Eventbrite Tickets. Does the issue continue to happen when that plugin is deactivated? I want to check that right off the bat in case the effort both plugins put into syncing is somehow conflicting with one another.
Secondly, has this been an ongoing issue? The reason I ask is because I notice you’ve had the plugin for a few months and it would be helpful to know when you started noticing the issue with syncing and whether you know about any updates to the site that happened around the same time. Do you recall?
Let’s start here and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberHey David,
Thanks for reaching out and for the kind words! I’m really stoked to hear you’ve been enjoying the plugins so far. π
That’s a great question.Β I can totally see how you would like to move on to the next month if there are no more events in the current month to avoid showing no events at all.
I’m afraid the mini-calendar is unable to fast-forward to the next month at the moment. I did find a request for this feature on the full Month View. It would be awesome if you could add your vote to it and perhaps even comment on how you would like to see it applied to the mini calendar widget as well.
So sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know if you have any other questions and I’d be happy to help as best I can.
Cheers!

MemberHi Stefan,
Thanks for reaching out!
We are working on a better method for deactivating the public attendee list in an upcoming release, but you can add this to your theme’sΒ style.css file or by using the Simple Custom CSS plugin:
.tribe-attendees-list-container { display: none !important; } .tribe-tickets-attendees-list-optout { display: none !important; }Will that work for you? Please let me know. π

MemberHi Kim,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the troubles with the plugin activation and event display. Those definitely sound like odd issues, so let’s dig in and figure this out together.
1. The Events Calendar PRO And The Events Calendar: Community Events Keep being deactived.
This sounds very similar to an issue that came up with The Events Calendar 4.1 that we quickly fixed, but still could be lingering for some even after the update.
Are you running the latest version of The Events Calendar (4.1.1)? If so, are you able to head to your Plugins screen and click the Activate link for both Events Calendar PRO and Community Events? From there, do the plugins stay activated, or at what point do they become de-active again?
If they continue to deactivate, I would suggest logging into your site directory via FTP and manually removing all three plugins and installing the latest versions from there. Your data will not be affected and this will ensure that you have the latest versions running and with fresh copies of the plugins.
2. The Events on our homepage are eradic. One post is like a sticky at the top of the page we canβt get it to move down the page.
I have a feeling that this will clear up once the latest versions of the plugins are installed and active on the site, so let’s start there and see how this shakes out once that is complete.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff

MemberHi Arlane and thanks for reaching out!
David is absolutely correct. Our last update introduced an issue which the new release resolves, but does require you to reactivate the Events Calendar PRO on your Plugins screen.
Once you reactivate the plugin, the widget should come right back. Let us know if that’s not the case for some reason and we’d be happy to help. π
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberSure thing, thanks Simon!Β Definitely let us know if anything else pops up and we’d be happy to help.

MemberHey Jonathan,
Just wanted to follow up and let you know that we released version 4.1.1 last night and it included a fix for this issue. Please update to the latest version if you haven’t already and do let us know if you continue to see any issues from there. π
Cheers and thanks for your patience while we worked on this!
