MemberHi Susan,
Ah yes, thanks for clarifying! I think you are indeed correct about that and I appreciate you chiming in to point that out. 🙂
I am afraid that importing events in bulk from Facebook is only available to groups/pages rather than personal accounts. The reason for this has to do with limitations in the Facebook API that prevent Event Aggregator from being able to fetch data from personal pages the same way as groups/pages.
Sorry for the bad news but I hope this helps and, again, I appreciate the clarification!

MemberHi Jasdeep,
thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the delay. We’ve had more activity in the forums than normal and are doing our best to keep up, so I appreciate your patience so far.
It is very off that Filter Bar is not displaying for you. It appears you are running hte correct versions of our plugins, so I would expect them to work.
As a starting point, will you please try switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Seventeen) to see if the Filter Bar displays when that theme is active? The reason I am asking you to check with a different them is that conflicts with themes is a common issue and can lead to odd behavior like this and I would like to rule it out as a possibility.
I know it’s not always ideal or possible to change themes on a live website. If that’s the case for you, then it would be awesome if you could set up a test site on your server where we can test and troubleshoot this together.
Let’s start there and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberSure Michael! Our system does automatically close threads after 3 weeks of inactivity, but I am happy to leave this thread open in the meantime.

MemberHey Mike,
Thanks for reaching out!
Sorry for the confusing messaging on the ticket settings screen. What is meant by the message is that it is not possible to not select an option for when tickets are sent. And, if you attempt to select no options, then the plugin will roll back to the default options being set.
I realize that may not be 100% clear and I can totally see how you may have read that as a possible setting to allow no tickets being sent.
I checked in on the attendee meta issue you mentioned and it appears that we are wrapping up development on a fix and it will move onto testing from there. While I do not have a target date for when it will be released, I have added this thread to the ticket in our system and we will be sure to follow-up with you when the patch is released.
Cheers,

MemberHi Jay,
thanks for reaching out! Man, that sounds like an awesome project and I’m glad you’re planning to use The Events Calendar for managing events — right on!
I am afraid that our plugins are not suited for booking things like rooms and appointments. I mean, you could theoretically use Event Tickets Plus to create a ticket for each available room, but that’s both cumbersome and would likely confuse folks visiting the site.
There are other plugins that handle bookings quite well. A couple I’ve heard others suggest in the past are Booking Calendar and WP Hotel Booking, though I have not tried either of those personally.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHey Michael,
Welcome back to the forums!
You bet. Moving licenses is totally possible and can be done directly here on our site.
Here are the step-by-step instructions for moving a license key from one site to another:

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHey Mark,
Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry about the issue with recurring events here, but I’m happy to dig into this with you. 🙂
For starters, will you please update Events Calendar PRO to version 4.4.3?
The reason I’m asking you to update is because our plugins require that they are run on the same version as one another. So, in this case, if you are running The Events Calendar 4.4.3, then Events Calendar PRO will need to be running 4.4.3 as well.
Give that a try and then let me know if you continue to see issue with setting up recurring events.
Cheers!

MemberHey Julio,
No worries at all! You are definitely not the first to report the same thing and it’s not always intuitive to remember that both plugins need to be updated together — we could definitely make that part easier on our end.
Cheers to you for following up! I’ll go ahead and close this thread but let us know if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi @valerio,
Thanks for getting in touch and I’m so glad to hear you found a solution that works for you! Nice work!
I believe home_url() should return your site’s URL by default. However, some sites are configured with relative URLs or other methods than might make relative URLs necessary, as I think it is in your case.
Either way, I’ll be sure to bring this up with the development team in the event there’s a way we can possibly do this better without folks like yourself having to make a change to the template in order for QR codes to work.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread but let us know if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Julian,
A license is for one year of support and access to plugin updates. Once the year is up, you can continue to use the plugin but will need to renew the license if you would like to post to these forums or receive future plugin updates.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Gareth,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Event Aggregator is actually built right into The Events Calendar, so there is nothing you need to install. However, you do need to purchase a license and enter it on the Events > Settings > Licenses screen to activate the importing options.
Does this help clarify things a bit? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!
