    Hi V.A. — hope you had a great weekend!

    The filter bar is not showing up in the widgets could you please make this happen we really need this feature.

    Filter Bar is actually not a widget, but a feature that is displayed on the main calendar. Here it is, for example, on this demo site to the left of the calendar:

    Still no succes with this translation thing.

    Have you edited the translation files themselves?

    Is it possible to show the main eventcalendar page in the backend under pages?

    I’m afraid the main calendar is not a page in WordPress, but an archive of posts, much like an category archive for Posts.

    The calendar layout and styles can be customized to suit your needs. Please check our Themer’s Guide for a thorough overview of how to do that with template overrides and custom CSS.

    I’m happy to keep supporting you here in this thread, but can we please keep the topic to the translations and open new threads for any other questions? Otherwise, it gets a little difficult to stay on topic. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hey Scott,

    Oh yeah, I did leave out a key detail: the shortcode will only work is you are not currently using pretty permalinks in WordPress. In that case, a redirect would be the best bet for a custom URL. Sorry about that!

    Iโ€™d like to disable Broadstreet on that page, but because itโ€™s not really a Page, I donโ€™t know how to do that. Any ideas?

    I think that would depend on how the Broadstreet script is being added. For example, if it’s in a global file, like footer.php or something, then perhaps try wrapping it in a conditional statement to exclude it from communityย pages.

    For example:

    }
    ?>

    Oh yeah, then Community Events might be the best way to go. That will create a page that those who submit events can view to see all of their published events and make edits from there as opposed to having access to everyone else’s events.
