Hi Events Calendar

I still have an outstanding issue with the image upload please can you help?

The file will not upload – FILE DOESN’T EXIST

Hey Peter,

So sorry for the trouble here with the file upload field! Let’s dig into this together to see what’s causing this.

First off, I notice you are running the following plugin versions:

• The Events Calendar 4.1.2
• Events Calendar PRO 4.1.2
• Community Events 4.1.1

Are you able to update to the latest version (4.2) of those plugins? I tried testing the Community Events submission form on a default WordPress install with all plugins running version 4.2 and the image upload appeared to work exactly as expected, with or without an image attached to the event.

When you update to 4.2, it’s worth reading through our release notes to see what’s changed and to make backups of your files and database before updating. Always a good idea when making any updates to the site. 🙂

Also, just to confirm, you’re uploading image files, correct? Want to make sure because the field will not accept any other image file format.

Let’s start her and see what we find.
