ParticipantUsing Avada 4.0.3 (recently upgraded from 3.8) download and tested Event calendar with event ticket with woocommerce. An rsvp ticket was sent – all very satisfactory. Purchased Event Tickets plus and integrated with woocommerce like other posts. Got the woo commerce notifications but tickets not sent.
I am using easy_smtp.
Further info. on the orders screen The logs say ipn notification completed (but my woo commerce is set to work without ipn. ) but the order status is stuck on “Processing”. When I manually changed the order status to “Completed”, the ticket got sent

MemberHello Maurice and happy Friday!
Thanks for all the information — this is super helpful and gives me a good sense of what you’re seeing.
It’s true that Event Tickets Plus will hold off sending a ticket email until the order is fully completed. That certainly explains why the WooCommerce order emails are being sent when the order is processing and the ticket email sends once you’ve completed the order manually.
There is a way to autocomplete orders. I’ve used this plugin before with WooCommerce and it does the trick so that you don’t have to do it manually each time.
Will this work for you as well? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Yep – that worked for me. Many thanks for the assistance. Going forward, I do think that Event tickets plus and woocommerce should integrate more tightly to remove the need for yet another plugin to maintain. In Products, Woocommerce allows us to specify simple product as being virtual or downloadable, so maybe a third option “Ticket” with the process rules built in. Or make the downloadable so that a ticket can be selected for the download option.
After all, in todays world, I can travel half way round the world without the need for a single piece of paper, with all flight and check-in tickets coming straight to my phone. To me, this is an absolute must for any online ticket system.
Thanks again
