    Hey Mandy,

    Good question!

Yes, if you go to your list of published events in WordPress and hover over the title of the event, additional actions will be revealed (screenshot). Click the Attendees option and it will take you to a screen of all the registered attendees for the event as well as an option to export that into a CSV file that includes the ticket and attendee information.

    Cheers!

Hey there, thanks for getting in touch!

Event Aggregator is actually already included in The Events Calendar, which is a free download on WordPress.org:

    The Events Calendar

Once you’ve purchased a license for Event Aggregator here on this site, you can copy the license key, head to Events > Settings > Licenses, enter the license number, and save your settings. That will unlock Event Aggregator so that you can import events in the Events > Import section of the app.

There is only one tier level for Event Aggregator at the moment. However, we are in the process of making more and you will certainly be able to change tiers when they are available, if you’re interested. I don’t have an exact timeframe for when they’re coming, but I do know it’s something we’re actively working on.

Does this help clarify things a bit? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey Blandine, welcome back!

Good question. The only way to change the text in that email is to add this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file:

    https://gist.github.com/geoffgraham/50b93c7db1791b213dedfa9ac7a01322

Change the “Your custom text” to whatever you would like and that will be reflected in the email.

Also, do you offer to send another email confirmation or a text the day prior to the training?

I’m afraid not. I know there are other plugins designed to handle follow-up communications, but I am not specifically aware of any that integrate directly with The Events Calendar.

Let me know if the edited text in the email works!

    Hey Thomas,

Oh man, so sorry for the irritating messages! I went ahead and manually deleted the expired licenses from your account so you should no longer see that when logging in.

Please let me know if you continue to see that, however, and we can dig further into it.

    Hey there!

Yes, the main image does import with the event. 🙂

The changes you make to an event in Facebook, however, will not sync. The plugin will simply import events from Facebook into WordPress as event posts and then are managed in WordPress from there.

Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

Hey James, nice to see you again!

Oh man, I see what you mean. The Month View completely breaks on your site when viewed on small screens. Just to confirm, here is a screenshot of what I see.

The responsive layout actually does not seem to break until it is viewed on a very small screen. For example, here is another screenshot where the responsive layout is completely in tact on your site.

I know you mentioned having tried testing for theme conflicts, but I wanted to confirm that on my test site as well and found that the responsive layout works when the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme is activated and not other plugins are installed. Here’s a screencast that shows the layout working on all screen sizes.

I tried digging into your site’s CSS to see if there was a simple fix but didn’t see anything right off the bat.

One thing you might consider is heading to Events > Settings > Display and changing the default template that is being used for the calendar. For example, if one of the theme’s page templates is being used, then switch the setting to the default calendar template instead. Likewise, if the default calendar template is already being used, try switching to a theme page template and saving your settings. That’s kind of a long shot, but worth trying.

Again, I know you had mentioned trying to test for conflicts, but would you be willing to share screenshots of that for me, where the WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme is active and no other plugins are activated, except the ones from Modern Tribe? That would be super helpful since I was unable to see the issue on my end. Otherwise, I think this may be specific to your theme and best handled on that end.

    Thanks so much!

    Awesome, glad that helped!

That would be an awesome way to upgrade, for sure! Unfortunately, that would require a whole different way of building the products where instead of building plugins, we’d be making hosted software that lives on our servers that are merely accessed by the sites using them. The beauty of WordPress is that you own the software when you purchase a plugin and host it yourself. 🙂

Thanks again for following up and please do let us know if any other questions pop up — we’d be happy to help.

Ooo, good question. I think the budget really depends on the rate of the developer you would be working with to help with those customizations.

We actually have a list of recommended developers who may be willing to help and they all come in at varying rates:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

Note that none of these developers are part of Modern Tribe — they’re folks we’re familiar with who have done great work on custom calendar development and have made themselves available for work for those like you who would be interested in developing the plugins further.

    Howdy Miguel!

We actually do not provide technical support here in our Pre-Sales forum, but you are definitely welcome to open a thread in our WordPress.org support forum or purchase a license for any of our premium plugins which will give you access to our premium support forums.

In the meantime, you can change the size of the titles in the widget with CSS with something like this:

    .tribe-list-widget .tribe-event-title {
    font-size: 14px; /* or whatever size you'd like */
    }

Please open a thread in one of the other forums if you have additional questions and we’d be happy to help. 🙂

Hey Philip, nice to see you again!

Sorry for the trouble here. The lack of tooltips in the Month View shortcode is indeed a known issue and something we plan to work on in the very next maintenance release.

While we do not have a workaround for this at the moment, I have noted this thread in our system and will definitely follow-up with you when a patch is released.

Thanks for reporting this and for your patience while we work on it.

    Hi Blandine,

So sorry for the trouble here with your license keys! Let’s check this out together and see what’s up.

I see that you have purchased Event Tickets Plus, but I do not see that it is currently installed on your site. Here is what I do see installed:

    • The Events Calendar 4.3.1.1
    • Event Tickets 4.3.1.1

If you install Event Tickets Plus, then the license key screen should show a field for you to Enter the license for Event Tickets Plus as well.

Please give that a try and let me know if it does the trick. 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hey Albertus,

    Ooo, interesting question!

I’m afraid there is no feature to automatically clean up events after they have expired.

That said, if any of the events are set up as recurring events, then you can change the setting to clean up past instances of those events in Events > Settings (screenshot) to help remove some unwanted events in the archive.

There is actually an open thread in our feature request forum that is directly related to this. Would you be willing to add your vote so it gets more attention? That would be greatly appreciated!

If you’re trying to get the number of events down to help with the performance of your site, then I would also recommend checking out the tips offered in this post to help making things run a little faster.

in reply to: Use of calendar on sub-pages #1182743

    Hi Mr. Mill,

Great question — it is indeed possible to embed the calendar on other pages (and subpages) by using the shortcodes provided in Events Calendar PRO.

I do want to note, however, that there is an existing issue that prevents the calendar from embedding a specific category. We’re working on that and will certainly release a patch for it in an upcoming release, but wanted to point that out before you jumped into purchasing the plugin.

In the meantime, you can embed any of the Events Calendar PRO widgets with a shortcode and the category filtering does work there.

Does this sound like it will work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!
    Geoff
