    Hi Rob,

Will you please send me a screenshot of your Events screen? The filters seem to display correctly on my end when testing things out (screenshot) so it would be helpful to see what the difference is between our sites.

Another thing that would be helpful is your system information, which you can share by heading to Events > Help, copying the the System Information box, then pasting here as a private reply.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

    Hi Rob,

I think the most direct way to do it would be to add your custom code directly to the ticket template. You can find more information about template overrides in our Themer’s Guide, but it basically boils down to this:

    • Make a copy of the tickets.php template. It is located at /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php
    • Create a new folder in your theme called tribe-events
    • Make a new folder in that one called tickets
    • Make a new folder in that one called wootickets
    • Add the copied tickets.php folder to that last folder

Now that the template is in your theme, it can modified to suit your needs. In this case, the time limiter code can be dropped in where you would like the countdown to be displayed.

Will that work for you? Please let me know.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

    Hi Kenneth,

Great question! You actually have a complimentary Event Aggregator license in your account for being an existing iCal Importer license holder. In other words, there is no need to transfer the license from one product to the other and you should be good to go.

Please let me know if you are not seeing the Event Aggregator license in your account for whatever reason and we would be happy to look into it further with you.

And yes, I can certainly refund you for the additional Event Aggregator license you purhcased. Would you like me to go ahead and process that for you? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hi Rob,

I’m afraid that is not a feature that is supported right out of the box.

I can see how that would be an awesome thing to have, though, and I’d definitely encourage you to add this to our feature request forum. That will put the idea on our radar and allow others to vote for it as well.

Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

    Hi Matt,

Thanks so much for getting in touch! This sounds like a really awesome project you’re working on and I’m glad to see you’re considering adding our plugins to the mix.

The first is that once the learner purchases the workshop they are automatically enrolled in the dependant course(s). Learndash themselves have developed a plugin that can make this connection to another event management tool, but we were looking at possibly bridging this gap with WooCommerce. Do you have any knowledge or experience around such an integration?

I have actually not seen this sort of customization implemented to our plugins before. I do believe it would be possible since tickets, when created in our system, are registered as Products in WooCommerce and associated to a particular event post. However, the specific functionality to register someone to additional events upon purchase would require a fair amount of custom development. We do have a number of recommended developers who may be able to help with this level of support, but I wanted to at least let you know that I haven’t seen a workaround for that to date.

Also, we have settled on the Foundry theme and if you have any information about how well your plugin and that theme work together, that would be great.

I did a little digging and the only report of an issue I’ve seen related directly to Foundry is this recent thread from just this month.

I took a look at that customer’s site and it does appear to be some minor style conflicts between the theme and plugin. In this specific case, I believe the layout issues being described there can be cleaned up by adding some CSS to the theme’s style.css file that would clean things up quite a bit with very little lift.

That is the only report I was able to find, so it could very well be something specific to that customer’s setup or configuration — that, or no one else is reporting those issues.

I will point out that we offer a full refund on all our products (including bundles) within 30 days of purchase. That should give you a good amount of time to install the plugins and give them a test run on a staging version of the site.

Also, all our plugins rely on the base functionality of The Events Calendar, which is a free download on WordPress.org. You can use that to test the calendar’s basic functionality and ensure it runs smoothly with Foundry ahead of diving into the full quite of products. 🙂

Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Geoff

    Hi Sally,

Sure thing! Try adding something like this to your theme’s style.css file or by using the Simple Custom CSS plugin:

    .tribe-events-venue-details .tribe-country-name,
    .tribe-events-venue-details a.tribe-events-gmap {
    display: none;
    }

I will note that this will remove the country name for all events, regardless of whether they are in the UK or not.

Here is a screenshot of how that looks when I test it out on your site. Does it work for you as well?

    Cheers!

    Hi Rob,

Are you referring to the WordPress admin view of events? If so, you can click the “Screen Options” button at the very top and right of the screen (screenshot) and choose which columns to display. The rest will be hidden and provide more real estate for the ones that are displayed.

    Cheers!

    Hi Jeff,

Oh shoot, so sorry for the mixup here!

Event Aggregator actually comes bundled in The Events Calendar. In other words, neither Events Calendar PRO nor any other plugin is needed to use it.

You do need a license to unlock Event Aggregator’s features though. You can do that by purchasing the license, adding it to the Events > Settings > Licenses screen, then going to Events > Import to start importing events.

Does this help clarify things a bit? Would you like me to refund your Events Calendar PRO purchase? If so, let me know and I’d be happy to process that for you.

    Cheers!

Hello Andrea, and thanks for reaching out!

Yes, it is absolutely possible to display a widget of upcoming events in a specific category using Events Calendar PRO.

In fact, here is a handy guide that provides more detailed information on how to configure the widget and another guide that provides information on how to embed the widget on any page or post.

Does this make sense and will it work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

in reply to: Pro Unlimited include multisite? #1185256

    Hi Tim and great question!

There is a difference between the Unlimited and Multisite license types:

    • Unlimited means you can install the plugin on as many sites as you like and enable both automatic updates and support access for all those sites.
    • Multisite means you can install the plugin on the network level of a WordPress multisite installation and enable automatic updates and support across the entire network.

So, to answer your question more directly, the Unlimited license does not include the Multisite license. However, You can still use the Unlimited license to install the plugin directly on as many of the sub-sites of a network as you would like.

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!
