MemberHi there
I’d suggest starting with Community Events for the submission.
Pro is not required to run Community Events. However, there are additional features that Pro offers, such as different views, recurring events, and more. Are there any features for the display that you want beyond The Events Calendar?
Thanks

MemberHi Ian
You can get a better idea about recurring events with our tutorial at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/.
We also have a demo site including a recurring event: https://wpshindig.com/event/womens-javascript-study-group/2018-07-04/ You can notice the “See All” to view the entire recurring series.
It is possible to schedule exactly as you are requesting above.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi James
Can you go to edit one of your published upcoming events that has a ticket and select “View Attendees”?
Please share a screenshot of editing one of your upcoming events and the ticket area.
I’m hoping we can get this sorted out today.
Thanks

MemberHi Cheryl
Wow, that is odd. I’m so sorry that is happening.
Can you go to Plugins > Installed and confirm that The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro are installed and activated?
Thanks

MemberHey Marsha
Glad you got it all sorted out. I’ll close this thread for now. Do let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with in the future.
Thanks

MemberHey Bart
I’m so sorry you’re experiencing these issues. To deactivate license warnings from the other plugins, head over to Plugins > Installed and select “Deactivate” underneath the name of each. You are also free to continue using the plugins even without a license. However, the prompt to renew will remain if the plugin is active.
As for Facebook imports, I’m afraid that situation doesn’t look very good at this time.
Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access) to their APIs (the protocols we use to ‘speak’ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an effect on a number of our users.
As part of this, a number of new restrictions were applied to their Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers, and venues. These changes went live with little notice to providers such as ourselves. At this point, it does not seem possible to reliably import any events, even if you created and ‘own’ events on Facebook and have linked Event Aggregator to Facebook using those same credentials.
This is frustrating for you, and for developers like us. As Facebook continues to alter what it allows us to access, we will continue to pursue a path forward for Event Aggregator to import Facebook events. We will continue to keep https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/ updated as this unfolds.
You should still be able to get your Facebook connection between Event Aggregator and Facebook working, but I don’t foresee imports being restored soon.
Can you send me a screenshot of the license key error? I’d like to be sure I am following between the Facebook connection or our license server.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks

MemberHi Annie
I’m so sorry that is happening. Can you double check that the plugin is activated? Head to Plugins > Installed and confirm that Events Calendar Pro is installed and activated.
If that doesn’t work, please send in your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ privately so we can better diagnose what might be happening.
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/ is our guide for using recurring events, once we get that feature working again on your site.
Thanks

MemberHi Gerhard
Can you compare what you are expecting with https://wpshindig.com/events/map/. Do you see the margins of space around the map? That is something we can help with.
And then do you see how the content is not a edge to edge layout of the whole screen? That is determined by your theme, and would require code from your theme developer to override.
I am thinking the issue here is related to an update by your theme developer. Can you check in with them?
Thanks

MemberHey Sarah
I’m sorry that the other options didn’t work for you. We’re limited in helping with styling customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
However, you can get started creating your own custom snippet by referring to our Themer’s Guide. This will ensure that your customizations are not lost with a plugin update.
Thanks

MemberHey Grace
The preview on our demo is for Events Calendar Pro, the paid version.
Can you show me on your own site where the grid lines aren’t showing?
Thanks

MemberHi there
Our solution above will work to load smaller file sizes, not just CSS tweaks. Please give it a test and let me know how it works for you.
If you’d like to carry this further, please head over to the Themer’s Guide for some help customizing this further to better meet your needs. This will ensure your changes are not lost with a plugin update.

MemberHi there James
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/#attendee-list should be able to get you started viewing attendees.
Further down on the same page, see also Check-ins without QR codes. This is the printable way to check guests in manually.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey there
You could override the single-event.php template and change:
<?php echo tribe_event_featured_image( $event_id, 'full', false ); ?>
To:
<?php echo tribe_event_featured_image( $event_id, 'thumbnail', false ); ?>
Or any other registered image size supported by their theme (thumbnail is pretty standard though and should work).
See our Themer’s Guide for guidance on overriding code so that your updates are not lost.
Thanks

MemberI’ve checked in to this further. Can you help us troubleshoot this a bit more?
1. Who is your webhost?
2. Install https://wordpress.org/plugins/log-http-requests/. Once installed and activated go to Settings > Log HTTP Requests. To be sure click on the ‘Clear log’ button.
In another tab open Events > Settings > Licenses tab.
Clear the license field for Pro, tab / click away from the field, go back and fill in the license key, then tab / click away again so the validation starts. After the success message appears go to the other browser tab with the Log HTTP requests and click the refresh button. At least one entry should appear.
Click on the URL which gives the details. Copy the texts into a txt file or a reply and share that. Ex: https://cloudup.com/cFHpepUfQ4N
We definitely want to sort out what is happening here.
Thanks
