Hello, i wondered if you could point me in the right direction as to where In the settings I can change the order events appear in the events calendar, for expample by venue or alphabetical.

Hi Sarah

My teammate Geoff has put together a useful snippet that should sort events alphabetically for you. This will involve a bit of coding on your end.

Add this snippet to either your child theme’s functions.php file or use the My Custom Functions plugin.

Basically, you open up that functions.php file with a text editor and add the code found in the link above directly after the opening <? php statement.

Our Themer’s Guide can walk you through additional coding details to be sure that you don’t lose your changes when our plugins update.

If are skilled in programming, you should be able to carry this further to include venue sorting as well. Customizations like this are a bit beyond our cope of Support / Terms. Though, when our queue is lower, we do allocate a bit of time to revisit customizations. We can’t promise when we can get back to that.

Could you let me know if you can get the alphabetical sort working first. Then let me know if you’d like me to move your thread into our customization requests queue.

We’re limited in helping with styling customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms. The code provided is a good starting point, but your development team will need to see this through.

The other alternative I can offer is to add your request to our queue of customization requests. This queue has no promise as to how soon we can get to the request, and will unassign you from my list. We will not receive an update that you have replied until someone has a chance to take on the customization request.

Hello Team,

We are using your plugin and now we need one more help from your end. At events page what we want if the user clicks at calendar page all events should show. Now the point is we want these events should come in a way like in one row there will be one venue events and like so. Can you please help us in resolving this issue?

Hello,

No I mean in the way that the calender would only show the events on at a certain venue on one line, so each venue shows on a new line. A clear way to show you is the link to a different calander here, how it only shows one venue´s events per line.

However, you can get started creating your own custom snippet by referring to our Themer’s Guide. This will ensure that your customizations are not lost with a plugin update.
