MemberHey Denise – no worries. Another user popped in with a private reply on this thread, which is why you aren’t seeing it.
We like each person to open their own thread about issues, and reserve clients commenting on each other’s thread for helping each other vs reporting their own issues.Normally I’d want to keep you in this thread specifically, but have asked a team member that can see this through to step in. I’m about to head out for maternity leave, and want to be sure we get this all cleared up. It looks like Patricia will be the main person handling the new thread you started from here, and occasionally developers may pop in. I definitely don’t want you to feel like we’re passing you around too much, but I also don’t want to leave any of my long-standing threads open while I’ll be out for a while.
Thanks

MemberHi there!
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
β’ If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
β’ If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product. Please include your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ so we can better help you.If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our Testing for Conflicts steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! π
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHey KB
Based upon http://whatwpthemeisthat.com, it looks like they purchased a theme that integrates with our plugin for that customized look. https://themerex.net/premium/?themes_query=0&themes_keyword=&themes_compatibility%5B%5D=289
Weβre limited in helping with styling customizations, per ourΒ Scope of SupportΒ /Β Terms. However, you can read further on how to handle customizations in our Themer’s Guide.
Thanks

MemberOh no Sam, that doesn’t look right at all.
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?Β I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.Β Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.
Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard Β» Updates).Β
Can you send in your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ as well to help us troubleshoot further?
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

MemberHey Jerry
This is a common WordPress issue that I’ve wanted to see fixed for years! The week starts on setting is a default WP issue, and you can modify that at Settings Β» General Β» Week starts on. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-the-first-day-of-the-week/.
More of the globe counts Monday as the first day of the week on a calendar, but hopefully WordPress will eventually base the starting day around things like if you are set to US English vs say a European/Middle Eastern/Asian/African specific language, or even where your website hosting is based. Sadly, this has been a proposed feature for WP core for many years and doesn’t show clear signs of an automated solution.
Let me know if adjusting this resolves the issue.
Thanks

MemberHey Michael
Thanks for flagging this. Is this only prompting you for Events Calendar Pro? I’ve had recent reports of others receiving notices for Event Aggregator when they don’t own an EA license nor have they filled anything into that field.
Trying to narrow this down.
Can you also see if deactivating the license on this screen, then deactivating the plugin completely, plus reactivating plugin/license resolves this?
Thanks

MemberHi Chuck
Unfortunately, this is an issue we are already aware of and the team will address it in a future maintenance release of our plugins.
I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report so we can let you know as soon as a bugfix is released.
In the meantime, we have a workaround that will force the currency symbol to always be before the price. You should place the following code snippet into your theme’s functions.php file or use the My Custom Functions plugin:
add_filter( 'tribe_reverse_currency_position', function(){ return null; } );Let us know if the snippet works for you.
I apologize for the inconvenience and we’d appreciate your patience.
Thanks

MemberHey Jacob
At this time, the article you referenced is probably your best solution. We don’t have plans yet to change this. One other solution is to force featured images into a specific dimension that meets your needs, but this would likely also impact other posts/pages on your site. https://wpshout.com/wordpress-custom-image-sizes/ could help you set the dimensions if you want to go that route. I’ve done this on client sites before for other reasons.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it it http://tribe.uservoice.com.

MemberHey Luca
Can you help me know what doesn’t work specifically? Did you receive an email with your license and a link to download the plugin?
You can view it also at My Account Β» Licenses https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ and you can download the plugin at My Account Β» Downloads https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/.
Install the plugin and head to Events Β» Settings Β» Licenses to confirm that your license is applied.
You can view your invoice at https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/ in “Recent Orders”.
And just in case you need any more help, check out the get started guide for Community Events: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-community-events/
Is there anything else I can do to help?
Thanks

When you go to your WordPress dashboard Β» Events, do you see any events listed?

MemberHey Kerry
The Events Calendar is required to be installed in order for Events Calendar Pro to work. You’ll want to leave that in there.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHey there Amber
I’m trying to see if we’ve got a bug on this. Can you save the options on the license page again and see if this resolves the issue?
Thanks
