All 2018 events seem to have disappeared from my calendar

    This is troubling! After some time to get my licensing updated and the plugins up-to-speed I seem to have lost all calendar entries for 2018.

    Any thoughts? Ways to recover?

    Hi Richard

    When you go to your WordPress dashboard » Events, do you see any events listed?

    Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?  I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.  Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.

    Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates). 

    Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.

    Hi Courtney–

    There are no events listed in my dashboard following 12/18. Everything
    seems to stop there. All plugins are up-to-date and I’ve added nothing new
    to create a conflict.

    I’ll do some debugging but please let me know if the plugin may have done
    something to delete 2018 events!

    Hi Richard

    I’d like to confirm, have you disabled all other plugins and used a default theme to test this? Recent WordPress core updates have resulted in some interesting results.

    I think what I’ll do is recreate an event in 2018 to be sure that is preserved and move forward from there. This will be easy enough to do…
