MemberAwesome. Thanks for letting me know it’s fixed now. š

MemberDawn, sorry I wasn’t clear about this in my previous reply, but you already have Event Tickets Plus! š
All new purchases of our now-legacy ticketing plugins get ET+ automatically.
Please check your Downloads and License Keys pages and let me know how things go for you.
Thanks!

MemberVolker, thanks for the screenshot. I can see you’re not using a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Fifteen.
Could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Fifteen theme and seeing if the issue persists? (Please try with and without the checkbox checked to see if you notice anything that may be helpful in troubleshooting.)
If disabling the theme fixes it, we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict. Do you have any theme overrides for the Events Calendar? If so could you try disabling them by renaming your [themename]/tribe-events/ folder to ātribe-events-bakā. Did that fix it?
If the issue persists in the default Twenty Fifteen theme, then we have a different set of debugging steps. Please keep the Twenty Fifteen theme enabled, and also disable any plugins other than the ones from Modern Tribe to see if that fixes it. If it does, please try re-enabling the plugins one at a time until the issue resurfaces. When it does resurface, can you let me know which plugin caused that to happen?

MemberZach, thanks for your understanding.
Marc, thank you for posting. In this forum we try to keep our threads focused on just one user’s problem. This ensures that we are addressing your specific problem instead of a general group one, and not possibly missing anything unique your situation.
To that end, if you’d like to, would you mind opening up a new topic here about your issue? If you could please detail in your own words exactly what your problem is (instead of just linking here), that will go a long way toward helping you get this issue resolved as fast as possible. I hope you understand our reasoning here and do not mind this extra step, we have just found it serves our users best.
Thanks

MemberHi Findly. Thanks for the question and all the details.
I noticed you’re onĀ WordPress versionĀ 4.1.1.
It’s strongly suggested to use the latest version of WordPress and all our plugins, so you could start by updating to the latest version of WordPress, which is currently 4.3.1.
I think your main issue is that you’re using The Events Calendar 4.0 (latest version) but you’re usingĀ The Events Calendar PRO versionĀ 3.9.1 (really old version).
PRO is currently at version 4.0 but was previously at 3.12.6 so your 3.9.1 is a really old version. Please update your PRO add-on to version 4.0.
Please let me know how it goes once everything’s updatedĀ to the latest versions.

MemberHi Andrea. Thanks for your question and the screencast (they always help).
It seems like your site is throwing a 500 error.
I just tested it on version 4.0 of all our plugins and it worked just fine. You should see something like this when itĀ does work:

Since you’re getting a site error instead of seeing this, could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Fifteen theme and seeing if the issue persists?
If disabling the theme fixes it, we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict. Do you have any theme overrides for the Events Calendar? If so could you try disabling them by renaming your [themename]/tribe-events/ folder to ātribe-events-bakā. Did that fix it?

MemberHi Jan. Thanks for your question.
We definitely want all our users to be on the latest version, which is 4.0, as you know.
Since you’re trying to upgrade from 3.12.2 (and the prior latest version was only 3.12.6), an automatic or manual update from 3.12.2 to 4.0 should work just fine. Of course, many of our users have updated to 4.0 already, from a variety of prior versions.
If the update to 4.0 isn’t going smoothly for you, I’d suggest deactivating all non-Modern Tribe plugins, activating the Twenty Fifteen theme, andĀ then trying to complete the automatic update to v4.0 of our plugins.
I hope this method of updating helps you resolve your issue. Please let me know how it goes for you. Thanks!

MemberYou posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it.
We don’t answer support questions for Events core/free or PRO add-on in the Pre-Sales forum.
If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.
Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.

MemberHi. Thanks for the detailed ticket, along with your system information report.
I’m sorry you’re experiencing this issue.
I see you’re using WordPress versionĀ 4.4-rc1-35761
Could you please try using the current release version, which is 4.3.1?
Also, does it happen when core/free plugin is active or only when PRO plugin is active too?
I’m not seeing this on my testing site and we haven’t had other reports of this, but I hope to help you resolve this issue.
Please let me know how things go for you. Thanks.

MemberHi Dawn. Thanks for your question regarding WP-eCommerce Tickets.
I would strongly suggest you use our new Event Tickets Plus pluginĀ (which is an add-on for the new, free Event Tickets plugin). It fully replaces the now-deprecated WPEC Tickets plugin. In other words, WPEC Tickets won’t receive any new features or maintenance updates.
I think you’ll find Event Tickets+ to be superior in many ways. Plus, it supports selling tickets via WP-eCommerce as your store plugin of choice.
Please let me know if this information helped you solve your issue.
Thanks!

MemberHi Volker.
Does checking this box help?
Events > Settings > General Tab > “Recurring event instances”

Cliff
MemberHi Annie. I’m guessing you already have a regular WordPress ‘page’ that has the “events” slug. Assuming that’s a blank page, just delete it.
Please let me know if this solves your issue.
Thanks!
Cliff
MemberHi Johan. I tested that plugin with our Event List widgets (both core/free and PRO) and confirmed they don’t play nicely together. I’m sorry about that, and I reported it to our developers. It’ll be up to them to determine if/when anything will be done about it. Additionally, we don’t provide ETAs even if it’s something they choose to attempt to resolve.
In the meantime, you might want to try using the Event List Shortcode. I hope this workaround will be sufficient for your needs.
Thanks for letting us know about the plugin conflict. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.
Cliff
MemberI’m glad you found it; thanks for the screenshot.
LoadingĀ http://cpmr-atlantic.org/events/list/ (with theĀ hosts file edit you gave me before) now no longer has any Chrome console errors. I see you have some sort of The Events Calendar debugging on though.
Now that there’s no more console errors, is The Events Calendar loading/working as desired for you?
