Stock Tickets on Event Page WPEC Tickets

I would like the number of tickets remaining for a specific event to be reflected on said event’s page near where the Add to Cart button is.

This issue has been brought up multiple times for Woo Commerce Tickets with a recent solution found here but has not been addressed for WPEC Tickets specifically. On the link above, the solution from May 2015 specifically states it is for Woo Commerce tickets only. I also found another solution as recent as November 2015 but the code for that one has specific strings containing the name Woo Commerce, referencing specific Woo Commerce hooks.

If there is a way to get Stock counts for event tickets to be reflected on an event’s page, please provide direction. Thanks.

Hi Dawn. Thanks for your question regarding WP-eCommerce Tickets.

I would strongly suggest you use our new Event Tickets Plus plugin (which is an add-on for the new, free Event Tickets plugin). It fully replaces the now-deprecated WPEC Tickets plugin. In other words, WPEC Tickets won’t receive any new features or maintenance updates.

I think you’ll find Event Tickets+ to be superior in many ways. Plus, it supports selling tickets via WP-eCommerce as your store plugin of choice.

I purchased the WPEC Tickets plugin a few days ago for $89. There was no indication on your website that this plugin will no longer be supported and be short on functionality. If Event Tickets Plus is the plugin I should have purchased, is it possible to count my $89 that I’ve already paid towards the Event Tickets Plus plugin? Had your website specifically stated that this was the better option for WPEC systems rather than the WPEC Tickets plugin itself we would have purchased Event Tickets Plus from the outeset.
