    I just upgraded to version 4 and my events on the admin side aren’t correctly sorting by date. Here’s a screenshot: http://grab.by/MtEO You’ll notice that about 2/3 of the way down is Feb, followed by Nov, followed by Dec, etc. If I try sorting by start date or end date, both ascending and descending, all of my events are grouped really strangely and some are out of order. Note that I have a mixture of recurring and single events.

    On my local instance, however, I haven’t yet upgraded and am still running EC Pro 3.12.5. Screenshot: http://grab.by/MtF2 My mixed events are ordering correctly in this older version of the plugin, which leads me to believe there may be a bug in the new release on the admin sorting.

    Both sites are running WP 4.3.1. Only difference is in the version of Events Calendar Pro.

    Please advise.

    Hi Zach. I’ve confirmed this issue and saw we already had this logged as a bug (that it actually orders using the post date).

    I’ve added this forum thread to the bug report, and it should get a notification once the fix is released.

    Our Advanced Post Manager plugin may help you in this situation too.

    Ah, that explains the ordering. Cool, thanks for the update. Luckily it’s not affecting the front-end so it’s just a minor gripe that can wait until the fix comes out.

    Hey Chris, hey Zach!

    Thanks for opening this thread. I’m seeing a strange sorting in the admin/backend area, too…
    And on top of that, the list of previous events on the frontend isn’t sorted either. The upcoming events are displaying fine, its just the previous events that are all mixed up.

    Thought I should add this to this thread. I’m glad to help out, if you guys need further information!
