MemberThank you for that helpful information.
Could you just try doing one-time importing and selecting multiple events or even Import All and let me know what happens?
If it errors out, please try from another feed like http://calagator.org/events.ics and see if importing multiple/All works from that feed.
If one-time importing multiple events works fine for both of those iCal feeds, I’ll investigate further when running a recurring import.
If your one-time importing fails too, there might be some issues with your site and we start by asking you to please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberAs previously stated, the bug is in the development team’s hands now. Bug fixing is prioritized according to many factors.
I believe you’d be able to easily hide the select box with CSS as a workaround until such time as the bug fix is released (whenever that may turn out to be).
Please let me know if you need help crafting such CSS code.

MemberSteven, other people have reported this issue too, and we’ve logged it as a bug (possibly relating to our new oEmbed feature).
Some have said a temporary solution might be that the event does not get embedded into the job posting if the job posting does not have the “Company Name” field filled out.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberThanks for your System Information report, Robert.
Could you please also send me a screenshot of your wp-admin > Settings > General page (from Timezone to the bottom of the page)?

MemberYour “ideal” is possible if you have both Filter Bar and PRO.
The Demo Site’s map view is at http://wpshindig.com/events/map/
Cliff
MemberSorry to hear that, Sean.
In that case, please open your own support thread and share your System Information. That will give us a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

MemberHi. Sorry this is happening for you.
This is a bug we recently discovered and should be releasing a fix for in our next update.

MemberGreat find. Thank you very much for sharing.
I’ve passed along this additional information to the developers in the form of a separate bug ticket.
Thanks again for your help and your patience as we leave this thread at Pending Fix for the time being.

MemberHi Brendan.
This should be straightforward with jQuery, which is already built into WordPress.
However, we already have a Reset Filters button. Is that not sufficient for your needs? If it is, maybe you could do a CSS customization to that button.
If you do need to add custom JavaScript or jQuery, you can see how the Reset Filters button works around Line 206 in this file: /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-filterbar/src/resources/js/filter-scripts.js

MemberHi Anna. Sorry you’re experiencing issues still.
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please play around with the WordPress timezone settings (example: if set to a city name, switch it to a UTC offset instead).
Please also share your System Information and the iCal feed URL. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi Duncan. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Please test your iCal URL at an iCal Validator like http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/
If the feed validates, could you please provide me the iCal URL you’re trying to use?
Cliff
MemberMike, we don’t have any Trials, just our liberal refund policy.
Could you please elaborate on what you have in mind when you refer to managing multiple locations?
It might be helpful for you to install our free/core The Events Calendar plugin and click around a bit. FYI: all location data is stored in what is called a “Venue” in our plugins.
Cliff
MemberJosh and Joe, yesterday’s plugin update didn’t include this fix, but thanks for asking and for confirming the code snippet works for you.
