September 19, 2016 at 1:33 pm in reply to: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Tribe__Events__Main’ not found #1166068Cliff
MemberAbby, I understand. It’s always recommended to test things on a staging or development server first. I’d suggest trying it for now and then removing it once the fix is released. Again, I don’t have an ETA, and this thread should get a reply once the fix does get released to Event Tickets.

MemberHi Dinah.
You found the right code (good job!), but it seems you’re unaware how to use WordPress action and filter hooks (that’s ok).
The
apply_filters( 'tribe_get_event_website_link_target', '_self' ),part of the code says to default to _self but allow this default to be overridden if you use the tribe_get_event_website_link_target filter. Here’s some example code to do just this (and a bit more – please read the code comments):

Best practice for adding custom code (like to implement a PHP snippet to modify The Events Calendar) is to create a functionality plugin, unless it’s something specific to your theme, in which case best practice is to make sure you’re using a child theme, then add the customization to your child theme’s functions.php file.
I hope this information helps!

MemberHi Jos.
Here’s an example of a Venue listing page: http://wpshindig.com/venue/green-dragon-bistro-brew-pub/
Your site should have this too if you have the PRO plugin activated.
Please let me know if this isn’t working for you.

MemberHi GJ.
Thanks for considering our plugin suite.
Please visit our demo site. It definitely has previous and next month navigation… unless there are no future events it won’t have the navigation so users aren’t forever clicking forward looking for events that do not exist.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Please share your System Information and screenshots of the event(s) not appearing as they should. Also, please explain how you’re expecting them to appear.
Thanks.
September 19, 2016 at 11:20 am in reply to: No Attendee Information in Ticket Emails after upgrade to 4.2.7 #1165992Cliff
MemberHi guys.
Unfortunately, Attendee Meta is not getting included in the tickets emails. Please install this plugin to fix it. It adds an option at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Tickets tab. You then check the “Tickets Email: Add Attendee Meta Info” box.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi Gary.
Our calendar works great for a lot of purposes, but it does not have “bookings” functionality. We have heard of some making it work for their purposes like this, specifically with our PRO recurring events functionality. However, our free Event Tickets and paid Event Tickets Plus plugins do not support recurring events at this time.
We have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Could you please provide the links to the iCal URLs you’re importing?
Also, please share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Finally, you might want to check out our Event Aggregator, which is available via http://betas.theeventscalendar.com/ and may help your situation if your server isn’t keeping up because the imports happen via our server’s processing power.

Please reference Running a saved recurring import with the iCal Importer and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Thanks!

MemberHi Anderson.
Thanks for your question. You should strongly consider either our Community Manager or Ultimate bundle: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/
Please review the plugins included and also reference Compatibility with WooCommerce Extensions.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberJason, sorry you’re experiencing this, and thanks for the details.
I see you’re on the latest versions of our plugins and WordPress, which is great.
Are duplicates only being created when this URL is setup as a recurring import, or are you manually importing this URL?
Have you experienced the same for other URLs or is this the only URL you’ve ever imported?
Cliff
MemberPlease tell me which events you’re considering duplicates at https://missionviejochristian.zingapps.com/events
Also, please provide a fresh copy of your System Information Report (wp-admin > Events > Settings > Help tab)
