I have a site running here: http://taos.org and I need to import a calendar feed that is here http://livetaos.com/events.ics and the importer never shows any events when I use the recurring import. If I download the .ics file and manually import it all is well. How do I set up the recurring imports to work. I can modify the .ics file in any way needed and have access to both servers.

    Thanks,
    zach

    Hi Zachary.

Please reference Running a saved recurring import with the iCal Importer and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Thanks!

I have gone through the docs and the import still says nothing to import. If I manually download the ics http://livetaos.com/events.ics and upload it and point the tool to it, the import works.

The .ics file is generated on the fly when you view the page. Could this be causing the error?

Zachary, generated on the fly is very likely the culprit here. It could be the time it takes to generate the URL. Maybe try this code snippet to increase iCal Importer’s timeout length:
