MemberThanks for trying that. I experienced the same yesterday, but today your Gcal URL worked fine for me without us changing anything on our side. Odd, but please try it again.
December 5, 2016 at 8:28 pm in reply to: Move the RSVP section / Change the "FROM" on RSVP Emails confirmations #1201859Cliff
MemberHi.
FYI: In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future.
1)
Please see https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-rsvp-ticket-forms/
Note, this will be a plugin option once version 4.4 is released (probably a few weeks), which will make it easy to change and won’t require the code snippet that’s currently at that KB article.
2)
One of these third-party (not guaranteed, tested, or supported by us) plugins may be what you’re looking for:

December 5, 2016 at 8:04 pm in reply to: No \\\'back to calendar\\\' link at top of single event post? #1201845Cliff
MemberHi, Paul. If I understand your latest update, everything’s good here and I can close this thread, right?
If not, please understand we do not provide support via our Pre-Sales Forum; it’s only for pre-sales questions.
Thanks.
December 5, 2016 at 8:03 pm in reply to: Anyway to Sort event calendar posts by event date outside of a widget? #1201844Cliff
MemberHi, Ben.
Our plugin creates 3 separate custom post types: Events, Organizers, and Venues.
The Events custom post type has custom fields for storing the event date, time, timezone, and more information.
That’s why a typical “display posts” widget or shortcode typically doesn’t work with our The Events Calendar plugin (unless you wanted to sort by Published Date, which you likely don’t want to because it wouldn’t make sense).
So, sorry, but the best I can recommend here is using one of our own plugin’s widgets or shortcodes or, if you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

MemberHi, Tamera. Sorry you’re experiencing this. I don’t quite follow what is happening for you. Please share any screenshots or video screen captures that can better communicate what’s happening.
Also, since this doesn’t sound like a known issue, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
December 5, 2016 at 7:57 pm in reply to: Events Calendar: How do I get this into WP once I've bought the program? #1201840Cliff
MemberHi. You posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it. (NOTE: Importing CSV files is included in the free version; none of the paid upgrades are required to import a CSV file.)
We don’t answer support questions for The Events Calendar core/free or Event Tickets core/free or their paid add-ons in the Pre-Sales forum.
If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.
Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.

MemberHi, Kalle.
Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Is it working for you now? Sometimes it can take the licensing system some time to recognize new licenses.
If it’s still not working for you, please provide any screenshots or video screen captures you think would help me better understand what’s happening.
Thank you.
Cliff
MemberHi, Jonathan.
I noticed this console error at your site: https://cl.ly/1o0g1r0K2A1h
(If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)I’d suggest switching to Twenty Sixteen theme to see if that makes the maps appear again. Whether it does solve this issue or not, please do report this JS issue to your theme developer too.
Let me know what you find out.
Thank you.
Cliff
MemberExcellent! Thanks for letting me know 🙂
Cliff
MemberI could not reproduce this, and I tried a lot of different combinations of dates.
I’d definitely suggest checking for console errors and following the rest of our recommended troubleshooting steps.
Cliff
MemberOur demo site displays today’s events in a list view: http://wpshindig.com/events/
Then the user can click a different date (indicated with a dot on the day if there are any events) to list that day’s events.
Is this not acceptable for your needs? If not, could you elaborate?
As stated in my previous reply, our plugin just isn’t currently able to display more than 1 “full view” on a single page. Here are some possible alternatives to consider:
- customize your Month View mobile view (likely a heavy customization via our Themer’s Guide)
- add a check, like wp_is_mobile(), and redirect to /events/list if on mobile (would require a page load so it’s not ideal)
- use a widget or shortcode for list view and hide one or the other depending on browser width (your idea from before)
I’m looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks.
Cliff
