October 13, 2017 at 10:27 am in reply to: Using a QR scan app on which i can import the tickets' code to work offline #1363396Cliff
MemberAdam, thanks for sharing your idea.
Stéphane, I found that snippet at https://gist.github.com/niconerd/914d8ca5603b648f1db0fc790b3b4910
If I’m understanding you correctly, that snippet works fine but it exports only the Ticket ID column in the CSV. Instead, because you want First name ticket holder, Last name ticket holder, and Name of the ticket added to the export, how about we just leave the original CSV as-is (already has all that data) and then add the Ticket ID column? Here’s the code for that:
https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/a3c9da35e1b4e7ca2236374c802359eb
(All I really did was remove the
$columns = array();part.)Please let me know how this goes for you.

October 11, 2017 at 10:13 pm in reply to: Google Events Search Results Showing Incorrect Times #1362405Cliff
MemberHi, Masha. Sorry you’re experiencing this known bug.
Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/google-search-displays-incorrect-event-date-2/#post-1311048
I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi. If you are pushing updates from test.domain.com to domain.com, you should just put the license key at test.domain.com and not in domain.com.
If you decide you do want to go the route of a second license for each domain (so they both receive automatic updates), please go to https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ and click to update to the Business-level license, which supports 3 sites.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberHi, Dave.
Filter Bar definitely doesn’t need a search term in order to work. You can try it out at our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events/
If it’s not working properly, this isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
If you choose to go the route of a refund, please complete our Refund Request Form and link back to this thread for reference.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions about this topic.

MemberHi, David.
Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/integrating-events-calendar-slider-revolution-essential-grid/
We don’t endorse Slider Revolution above other sliders, but it should be a helpful resource no matter which slider you choose.
Please let me know how this goes for you.

MemberHi, Kate.
Please remove your license key from your old site (if it’s still available), go to https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/, and enter your license key into your new site.

MemberHi, Travis.
I haven’t personally used https://wordpress.org/plugins/sportspress/ before, but shortcodes work just fine, like in any other Page or Post.

October 11, 2017 at 9:30 pm in reply to: Displaying events based on picked date in community events #1362383Cliff
MemberHi, Tamara.
Community Events uses https://jqueryui.com/datepicker/
You could follow its documentation to come up with your own snippet to customize it to your needs.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
