    Hello telluridelibrary,

    Thanks for contacting us!

According to this view, the first event in June is on the 6th. http://www.telluridelibrary.org/events/category/adult/month/

What I think is happening is you have a template override to display the view you have in that link (which is very well done by the way).

We must have changed something in 3.6 that caused the query to fail on your template, so it grabs everything from the month of June, not just the upcoming ones. That’s why the ‘expired’ events still show up, because they all happened in June.

Did this just start happening with the 3.6 update? Could we get a copy of your template override? A zip of your theme would be the best way.

Here is a list of changes in 3.6 https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendarpro-3-6-changes-you-should-be-aware-of/

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

    Hello otsp,

Thanks for contacting us through the forums! I’d love to help you the best I can!

Can you give me more information about the tabs feature? Can you show me the video that demonstrates this?

We have two premium plugins to offer the functionality you are looking for!

The Community Events plugin allows users or the anonymous public to submit events.

The Facebook Events plugin allows for integration, importing and syncing with Facebook Pages’ events.

Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

    Cheers!

    Hello proimpact,

We currently don’t integrate with Constant Contact. If Constant Contact somehow integrates with Eventbrite or Facebook, we do have API plugins for those. (Although, I seriously doubt this would work seamlessly)

If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.

    Cheers!

    Hello chrisgeist,

    Thanks for contacting us!

I’m not seeing the error anywhere, did you fix this ok?

The meta factory was deprecated in 3.6. This blog post will instruct you on how to get around any errors.

    Hello welshartnow,

Thanks for contacting us, that’s a pretty great idea!

Unfortunately there is no way to do that out of the box, as far as I can tell. Also, that level of customization goes beyond the scope of the forums. 🙁

However, you could probably hack something together in a single line of jquery. Maybe build the selector based on today’s date or something, depending on what needs the click event on load.

    jQuery( the_selector_for_today ).click();

If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.

Thanks for letting us know about this. Our products team has been revising quite a bit of code lately, in the hopes of leveraging the changes in the future for more features.

However, this has been causing some conflicts with user created template overrides, and has become a pain point for quite a few users, such as yourself.

We’ll be paying attention to this more closely in future maintenance releases, and will be more diligent in our documentation and more frugal/scrupulous in our API changes.

I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Let us know if we can help with anything else.

From my understanding you want to look at these two files:

the-events-calendar-community-events/views/community/modules/venue.php line 121 and the subsequent function loadStates() in the-events-calendar/lib/tribe-view-helpers.class.php line 307.

You could probably build a similar loadProvinces (maybe even a loadCities if you were ambitious), but they would not be supported as you would have to manipulate the core code.

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!
