The Events List widget, which used to work before a recent upgrade.
I verified this by upgrading the version of The Events Calendar (and PRO) on our staging site, where the widget had been working. Upgrading it caused the same problem.
If I change themes to TwentyTwelve, the problem goes away. So this appears to be some kind of customization that didn’t used to cause a problem but now does.
This is a problem on the live site, but I’m linking to the staging site here because I had to remove the non-working widget from the live site.
Can I report this as a bug — or, what do you think is needed?

http://i57.tinypic.com/dos4sj.png“View all events” is part of another widget, but the rest of it is the Events List widget, which should be showing a list of event titles with links.
I suspect that the link you sent will be the solution to the problem. It’s definitely challenging and somewhat costly to our client to keep up with all the updates and changes, but I appreciate your support, and of course the quality of the plugin itself.

MemberThanks for letting us know about this. Our products team has been revising quite a bit of code lately, in the hopes of leveraging the changes in the future for more features.
However, this has been causing some conflicts with user created template overrides, and has become a pain point for quite a few users, such as yourself.
We’ll be paying attention to this more closely in future maintenance releases, and will be more diligent in our documentation and more frugal/scrupulous in our API changes.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Let us know if we can help with anything else.
