MemberHello,
It is possible to edit the views and single events information. If you follow our themer’s guide it will show where to move the templates to in your theme:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
You can start by looking in this directory:
the-events-calendar/views/modules/
For the templates that control content on the single event pages.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

November 29, 2014 at 3:51 pm in reply to: free versions css and language files are used instead of the pro versions ones #902344Brian
MemberYep that is correct it would load css and language files from both plugins. Pro does not overwrite anything from the free the Events Calendar it only adds on to it.
So you will have edit both plugins language files if that is your goal.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHello,
I can help you out with this. There is not size of the image set. It takes the full image you upload and fits it into the width of the content.
One way to make this change would be to add some css to your site to resize the image to what you would like.
Or you can follow our themer’s guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
Then you can move and edit this file:
/the-events-calendar/views/single-event.php
On that file you would like to look for this function:
tribe_event_featured_image
And you can change full to the size you would like.
This information from the codex can help you create a custom size if you like:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_image_size
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHello,
The only files that can be moved and edited are the templates in the view directory.
It is not possible to move any other files to edit them. You can edit files in a plugin, but it is not recommended as they will be overwritten.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks.

MemberHi,
Thanks for using out plugins. I can try to help out, but we do not have your theme and unable to solve theme compatibility issues for the most part.
Having said that have you changed the settings on this page:
Events > Settings > Display tab
Then look for this field: “Events template”
Try the different options there and see if that setups the look of the calendar with the theme how you would like it.
Let me know if that helps
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I think this customization is possible. We are not able to help on customizations through the forum, but we can try to provide some information for you.
I would start by looking at our themer’s guide for how to move files to the theme and edit them:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
Then you are going to want to look to edit this file:
/the-events-calendar/views/single-event.php
And the featured image function is :
tribe_event_featured_image
Not sure how you can get the image map to show there for different events, you may have to create a custom field and put the image map in there and then show it in place of that featured image function. There is not much help we can provide on that, but that is where you would be able to place your coding.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

The information is the same as your other post so I am going to make that the main ticket for this as the issues are similar enough to be dealt with together on that one.

November 29, 2014 at 3:02 pm in reply to: venue[url] field overwritten with empty value on edit. #902281Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for the information. I was able to reproduce this bug. You are correct it is saving in the database, but it is not showing on the front editor so the value is being overwritten.
I have created a bug ticket to address this. We do have a release coming out in a couple weeks and I might be able to get this into it. I will not know until Monday. If not I maybe to get some coding together to fix this in the mean time.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian
MemberNo worries, we can help out a little here.
There are a bunch of templates that you can modify it is up to you which one you will need. I would start by looking here:
the-events-calendar-community-events/views/community/modules/
You can also look at using CSS to hide the fields if you would not like to move and edit templates.
Sorry if that is too general, I am unable to help on all of a customization. I can just get you some help to get started then you are going to have to take it from there.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions. As you say we do not have a reward program.
However, the renewal rate is 30% off the retail price of the plugins.
Here is an explanation of our Upgrade and Renew Process

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

MemberHi,
I can help you out with this.
The Event Calendar creates its own page for the main views of the calendar. On your site it is this url:
If you would like to change that url you have to go to your sites admin and then here:
Events > Settings > General Tab
Change the Events URL slug
I would recommend looking at our New User Primer to get a better idea of all the settings and how to make it work better with your theme:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-pro-new-user-primer/
Also here are some guides for theme integration:

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
